Il museo dei Pupi della famiglia Canino, nasce per la divulgazione e la conservazione di un'arte antica , popolare siciliana che ha visto i natali nel lontano 1826 dalle abili mani di Don Liberto Canino , capostipite di questa famiglia di artisti che creò la prima armatura metallica palermitana. Con la scomparsa dell'ultimo puparo Nino Canino, lo scorso 11 aprile del 2015, la nuova realtà museale , permetterà a queste splendide creature I PUPI DI NINO CANINO, di continuare a dare lustro a coloro che hanno per tutta la loro vita condiviso le sorti dei PALADINI DI FRANCIA.

Museo Tattile Statale Omero

A unique barrier-free museum, whose aim is to export its experience and philosophy by promoting a multi-sensory enjoyment of art. Housed in the Eighteenth-century rooms of the Mole Vanvitelliana, Ancona, the Museo Omero can be seen as a three-dimensional encyclopaedia of art history. The collection covers all the main periods of sculpture and plastic arts: it has casts taken from original Classical Greek masterpieces, sculptures by Michelangelo as well architectonic scales of Partenone and Basilica di San Pietro. Several are the original works by contemporary sculptors such as De Chirico, Marini, Martini, Messina, Pistoletto and many others. The Museum is a centre for training and research, a permanent workshop for the promotion and enjoyment of works of art, the champion of tactile exhibitions of national and international importance, thematic exhibitions, and it provides learning services for schools and families. MUSE - Science Museum

The MUSE is located south of the historic Palazzo delle Albere in the new city district Le Albere, which was planned by the architect Renzo Piano. It stretches over 6 floors with a length of 130 m each, the entire area is about 12,600 m². In the museum science and technology show the interaction of humans and the environment. The MUSE especially invites young, children and families to a wonderful journey into science and nature. The metaphor of the mountain is used in the exhibition to relate life on earth, the first Alpine dwellers, the history of the Dolomites and nature of the Alps. The MUSE also organises numerous events and temporary exhibitions. A special experience is “Maxi Ooh!”, a room for children from 0 to 6 years. A place of sensory experiences with touching, smelling, looking, seeing, and hearing. Fun is guaranteed! Please note: dogs of all sizes are not permitted in the museum.

Very hands on and a mix of lots of different interests for all ages, kids seemed to love it I could have stayed all day
