Every evening we use the latest weather update to choose the area around Tromso with best chances for clear skies. At 7 pm, we pick you up outside main entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel and walk you 100 meters to our office where we help you with the proper Aurora/night photography settings on your camera/mobile phone. Then we give you warm overalls, boots, and mittens, and drive you straight to the best spot. Many nights the Aurora starts dancing as soon as we arrive, while other evenings we relax with coffee and muffins while we wait for her. We will take you for a road trip around Kvaløya island, and drive between the deep fjords and the mountains out to the picturesque beaches of Sommarøy. On our round trip around the Island Kvaløy you will experience how the weather can change. We make stops when we see reindeer, elk/moose, sea eagles and seals. Northern Norway’s nature offers stunning atmosphere during the seasons; from green landscapes in summer, to colorful autumn, to snow-capped mountains in winter. Take in the magnificent Arctic scenery of Northern Norway Join us on a roundtrip tour around the picturesque island of Kvaløya (Whale Island) in a minibus. Take in the fresh, clean air and the breath-taking views of the mountains and fjords and capture the beauty through your camera lens. Leave the city behind and head into the wilderness onto Norway’s fifth largest island. See how locals live and keep your eyes open for typical Arctic fauna including eagles, sea otters, seals, foxes, elk and reindeer. Stop at local cafes and shops to see and buy authentic Arctic products including locally produced food. You will be guided by a pro photographer (see proof from our Instagram or Facebook page,) who will safely take you around the perimeter on a 4wheel drive vehicle, either a Land Rover Defender (adventurous) or a Mercedes Benz minivan (comfortable.) Please let us know, if you prefer one over another. The tour consists hotel pickup, home made soup, hot drinks, tripods, thermal suit, boots, campfire(if conditions allow,) Aurora portraits and so much more.
