From posh Costa Smerelda in the north to medieval Alghero in the northwest to the lively capital of Cagliari in the south, and with many picturesque towns and unspoiled sandy beaches in between, Sardinia’s got a little something for everyone.

We had so much fun on this wine tour, recommended to us by a work colleague from Cagliari. Our guide Franco spoke excellent English, collected us from our hotel and showed us a great time. This really is a beautiful island. The wine was delicious as were the local accompanying cheeses, salami and bread. Bought three bottles to take home with us! Enjoyed meeting Giuseppe and being shown around his wine estate, he was a fantastic host. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Matteo spoke English very well and also injected plenty of humour into his dialogue! We finished the day at a fantastic agroturismo restaurant and Matteo was able to describe the dishes and local customs to us. We had a great day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Matteo and the tour!

We made a nice e-bike trip with our host Valentina through Cagliari. The city is big and hilly. But with the e-bikes it was easy explorable and made a lot fun. Valentina introduced the city with its historical and religious side like the procession Feast of Sant’Efisio. She gave also recommendations where to eat typical Sardinian food. At the end of our tour, we spend time together at a street restaurant, drank a coffee and had a nice chat. If you spend some time in Cagliari, then use this option and discover a beautiful city by bike.

The island of Sant'Antioco is home to the ruins of the oldest urban settlement in Sardinia, the Phoenician city of Sulky. We walk in the town of Sant'Antioco itself where the ancient settlement once stood; its colourful houses line along the small port where every day the fishermen sell their catch. The looks, the smiles and every little gesture of the local people could resemble those of the Phoenicians, of a place that still hides secrets. One of them is the tradition of the byssus, the renowned golden brown marine natural filaments that are still spun and woven today to get fine embroidery. We stroll along the coast on beautiful beaches interspersed with rocky natural barriers where the waves of the turquoise sea break. And we finally reach Calasetta, a small town of white houses nestled in juniper woods and vineyards that stretch all the way to the coast in front of the Faro di Mangiabarche, a working lighthouse that still guides sailors to safety.

Inclusions: Certified tour guide and also tour driver.

Exclusions: Lunch at the restaurant
