If you love to immerse yourself in beautiful scenery and prefer a personalized private tour, then come and join me for a day trip on the beautiful Achill Island. Let it be a journey to rest your mind and nourish your soul. Scenic walks can be included if you prefer walking to driving. Depending on the length of the day and on your “exploration mode”, my little addition to the current trip would be visiting Ireland’s own Titanic Village and Titanic Memorial Park in Lahardaun in County Mayo. If you wish to enhance your visual experience while on the journey, there is an option to listen to the haunting contemporary Irish music by Seán Ó Riada, Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Patrick Cassidy and many more. I’m driving a Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid 2017, with very comfortable seating for up to three people. I can stop any time at your request.

Inclusions: All Fees and Taxes, Healthy drinks on board:natural lemonades, smoothies, juices and water. Stops at your request.

Exclusions: Lunch

I had such a wonderful time with Ulla, first of all she has such a beautiful personality with good sense of humor and she certainly knows all the hidden gems in the area of West Coast of Ireland, where an ordinary bus tour would never take you! I could not imagine taking a crowded bus tour to discover Ireland, I much prefer a private tour with a comfortable and safe car and a great tour guide who knows the area so well! I will definitely go back to Ulla and let her show me more of this amazing part of Ireland as this one day was clearly not enough!

I want to emphasize how marvelous Ciara was when I had to cancel and I have now rebooked the 11 day driftwood tour September 7. Would love to hear from anyone else booking that tour. One of the reasons I rebooked was the low deposit as even though did get my deposit back with no trouble last year I was uncomfortable at my age and who knows what’s gonna happen with Covid putting a large deposit down again. My husband I did the Southwest Ireland tour with Jerome. What a great tour, Jerome was fantastic from start to finish, nothing was a problem. The actual tour was fantastic and I am sure we would not have seen everything we did if we drove ourselves. We learnt so much from Jerome, he was a wealth of knowledge without going overboard. Our group was mainly American and Canadian, we were the only Australians, everyone was very friendly and got on well. We were extremely lucky with the weather and the scenery was beautiful. The only thing I would change is, we stayed in the bed and breakfast options, I would stay in the hotel option next time.

We booked Cliffs of Moher & Burren tour. The cliffs were awesome and our driver John was really great, but the tour was quite badly organised and ended up costing more. Right at the beginning of the journey we were told that due to covid 19 they had cancelled some of the activities that were included in the price: Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, the 5,800-year-old Poulnabrone Dolmen and Ballyalban Fairy Fort, and also a visit to Kilfenora to see Celtic Crosses was cancelled. We were offered an option to pay 15 euros extra per person to get a one hour boat trip in front of the Cliffs of Moher instead. That was quite unprofessional way from company's side to replace those very interesting attractions that we thought that we could see. We felt a bit scammed as we had to pay more to get a possibility to experience something else. Other option would have been to wait in Doolin until the boat trip was over. The boat trip itself was also very poor from its staff's side. We were given false information regarding how the Cliffs have formed (by atmospheric pressure - that's not correct), about the building date regarding a tower on top of the cliffs etc. It was a bit hilarious and frustrating. The quality of that boat trip didn't convince us but oh well, one more experience :) Other than these couple of odd things the day was really nice and as we live in Ireland we will for sure take another trip to see more of the area. But as we felt that we cannot really trust the tour description and we were not informed in advance about any changes, and there was no word about cancelled activities due to covid 19 on their website when we booked and read about this tour, we will either try another tour company or we will rent a car next time.

I did the cliffs of Moher and Galway day tour with Damien as a bus driver/guide. The whole day was amazing, they really fit a lot into one day with the right amount of time to do all of it. If you’re lucky enough to get Damien as a bus driver you’ll be sure to have an awesome time and learn lots in between his great humour. Definitely recommend this tour for solo travellers, couples and groups!
