Disappointingly there was no Lady Isabella Gardner who started planting exotic flowers here on her return from even more exotic locations. The name Isabel simply means grey, yellow soil of this enclosed area because this is how this boggy, soggy area looked like few centuries ago. But now it's definitely a Bella as Italian would say. This little park within a park has a biodiversity of mini botanical garden. Other than the local trademark ancient oak trees, bluebell, daffodils flowers, there are chestnut, strawberry trees, fungi, many species of butterflies ???? moths and other little animals that come out only at night. And with a free entry for everyone, this is as good as it can get.

The Orange Tree Theatre is an award-winning theatre based in Richmond, and a registered charity. It produces new and rediscovered plays in its unique, 180-seat in-the-round space, and tours to venues across the country, serving an audience of 75,000 people a year.
We have visited the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond (London) several times, and each time has been enjoyable and good value. The Audience sits around the sides of the square stage in two tiers, stage level and a level above that, each a double row of seating. In all about ten seats per row per level per side, so it is a very intimate gathering. One corner is the audience entrance/exit and the other three can be used for actor entrances/exits on the stage level. Prices are very reasonable and many of the productions are new presentations of contemporary or classical plays. Pre-play and interval there is a small bar. An excellent alternative to the hustle and bustle of central London theater-land.

Open to all, The National Archives is a place to explore 1,000 years of history - from Shakespeare's will to tweets from Downing Street. This impressive building in Kew is set in beautiful grounds and offers visitors a diverse programme of events, activities, research spaces and a Keeper's Gallery that hosts special exhibitions throughout the year.
Were lucky enough to visit on 1st Sunday in December when visiting Kew Gardens too. Set in beautiful grounds even on a wintry day, looked inviting. Very welcoming staff. Records room not open but lovely coffee shop & seating area. Fabulous shop where I purchased a couple of extra Christmas gifts. Look forward to returning when in London again hopefully when Records Reading room is open.

Park Lane stables is a professional and friendly yard with kind and experienced staff. Their horses are lovely and suitable for both the beginner rider and the experienced rider. The staff are kind and patient and make the riding experience in Bushy Park a very special one! They also have dealt with corona-virus extremely well and have continued operating with socially distanced hacks, ensuring all precautions are in place. They ensure all tack is disinfected and there guests are following the rules. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)
