Ludlow Castle is an unusually complete range of medieval buildings with a varied history evident within its walls. We are host to a number of events that run between April and November, information of which is available at the local tourist information centre and on our website. Castle House was one of the last grand mansions built in Ludlow. It was sympathetically restored in 2006 by the current Earl of Powis and provides a range of Independent shops, Tea Rooms with an idyllic outside terrace during the summer months; function rooms that are available for civil ceremonies, weddings, parties, wakes, meetings The 3 no. self catering apartments are available for 3, 4 and 7 night stays. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, well equipped kitchens and sitting/dining rooms and views of the castle that are unparalleled. The Tea Room is a traditional English tea room with a glazed Courtyard, Pantry, Study and Garden Terrace. It is child and dog friendly with a welcoming and enthusiastic team, serving something for everyone. There are loose-leaf teas, cafeteria coffees, fresh juices and quality wines. A range of freshly prepared cakes and cream teas are available all day. There is a lovely walk around the outside of the castle where you are surrounded by natural woodland and outstanding views of the castle walls, River Teme and Whitcliffe Common.
This ancient fortress can be found at the end of the town square, it is a well preserved structure & a great place to explore, they have a very nice cafe & a lovely gift shop, well worth a visit

Having known A E Housman's cycle of poems "A Shropshire Lad" since I was at school (in the 1960s) I had long wanted to visit the Clee Hills - and see those "blue remembered hills" for myself. I was not disappointed - a fantastic view.

A busy farmers market with over 35 stalls of specialist and everday local produce. Including food, drink, plants and craft. everything sourced within 30 miles of Ludlow.
I was delighted to come across this market which excelled in a wide range of innovative food. I particularly liked a stall with a range of savoury croissants (camonbert and cranberries)and a tempting range of bread; bread layered with lasagne sauces ,.bread with onion and tomato fillings....mushrooms etc. Another stall had an amazing range of vegetarian..corn and spring onion cakes, sausages made with halloumi cheese and sun-dried tomatoes...vegetable pancakes made from courgette, potatoes, onions, apples and cheese. Another stall had a tempting range of homemade cakes.

Monkey Mania is Ludlow's premier party venue and indoor soft play centre for children and toddlers. We provide a three tiered themed soft play experience and a separate area for toddlers. Our facility also include separate party rooms that will be serviced by an on-site cafe serving hot and cold food and barista quality coffee along with all the other drinks you would expect.
Regularly go to monkey mania as my little one loves it, and I have to say I find it much better then ‘Quackers & Mickey Millers’ for one the cost of entry isn’t expensive as you only pay for the child, the food is amazing and I highly recommend the sandwiches ~ 10/10! Depending on the age of the child is how much they will do, as I have a 2 year old who loves the toddler area & the main slides, but I can see why people say there children get ‘bored’ as there are bigger places - BUT you won’t get it for the same price as here!
