Autumn hiking and chill-out

I was staying there and enjoying Tatra hiking just for 4 days, but after a whole day spent in the mountains, it was always great to come back to the hotel, the room, and the people. Great food, convenient parking, close to interesting spots in Tatrzańska Lomnica, and hiking trails. We were rushing a bit when checking-out, and I have left one of my bags in the room. To my surprise hotel's staff sent it back to me to Warsaw with no extra charge. Great attitude, and I will definitely be back in this place. Strongly recommend!

A gem and a bargain
Reviewed By 257gerifThis little penzion is a hidden jewel. The owners are super friendly and take great pride in their place. The room was spacious, and included a balcony. The bed was comfier than most, and linens were crisp and clean. There was ample closet space and even a fridge. The only reason we didn’t rate “quietness” higher is because there was a large group of guys staying above us who were enjoying themselves until the wee hours. But it wasn’t the owners fault. And the construction in this part of the world tends to muffle neighborly noises so we didn’t lose a ton of sleep because of this. The only thing we would do differently is to stay longer.

Very clean and in good condition, but some things could be improved: a kettle would be nice, especially as there is no way to get a coffee or tea around in the evening. The mattresses are too soft, so it's not the most comfortable. The breakfast is good, and starts at 07:30.

Living in a kitchen
Reviewed By Enrico DAvoid. Rooms are just upstairs the restaurant and food smell is extremely strong. Noise from the kitchen (starting before 8) and the restaurant is also very disturbing. Rooms are nicely decorated but very small and suitable only for very short people if you like, for example, to stand in the sleeping room. Please remember that the accommodation is on a cash-only basis (draw your consequences).

Beautiful stay
Reviewed By Rodafra17We have chosen this resort as we needed the charger for our TESLA car and we had absolutely wonderful stay during all the stay in the Aplend Resort- Villa Beatrice. Since we’ve opened the door on entrance with very friendly and welcoming girl on the reception desk Maria, where we’ve received all the informations needed about the resort and about the town and all activities and restaurants around. We’ve received also a discout in many restaurant in the area of High Tatras with a special card from the APLEND RESORT which we’ve received also during the check in. As we said, the apartment was very nice and modern, more than we’ve expected. We had also the breakfast included which was very big and absolutely fresh which ist most important. As we are big travelers and we’ve visited a lot of countries around all the world and since many years we’re owner of the 4 and 5 stars hotels in Italy, we can only highly recommend this APLEND BEATRICE where we were absolutely happy and need to say a big thank you to all the staff to make our stay memorable.

Friendly, homely place
Reviewed By Kosice_Red_SpiderVery good value for money. I stayed 5 nights. It is a quiet, homely place. More like a B+B than a hotel. The manager was helpful and spoke good English - but the rest of the staff did not speak much English, so a learning a little Slovak would help you. There is a train stop nearby. The food is nice and freshly cooked. Breakfast is at 8am. Good wifi signal in my room. You must pay a deposit by internet transfer and then the balance in cash on arrival. I would definitely recommend this place and would like to stay again.

From the architectonic aspect, our apartments are sensitively and suitably placed in the mountain area. When furnishing we followed the demanding requirements of clients and we used the latest technologies. So we created for you the ideal space as for relax, so for quiet work. .
Great location

Pros: - location is great - there is a playroom for little kids and another one for slightly bigger (and adults), it was a big plus according to our kids. - there is a washing machine in the complex (though only one) and a gym. - rooms are big enough and convenient enough. - They offer to buy stuff for your arrival which can be very helpful. - Stephan was very nice and helpful. - Good price overall. Cons: - No air-con and wasps coming in once window is open - The dining table is too small for 2 adults and 2 kids - No dishwasher. - The biggest issue we had is that our toilet got clogged because apparently they put a refresher in the toilet and it somehow it got flushed. But after fixing it (which by the way was quick enough) they demanded us to pay for that because that is the company policy. Eventually, Stephan handled the payment but still left us with a feeling that he's doing us a favor and we are the one to blame. Besides the issue with the toilet, we had a great stay there, especially the kids.

Reviewed By Odyssey508549We ordered a meal and it took so so long to come and instead of fish they brought me cheese. They gave me chips and salad and I ate these then waited for ages till the fish came. They then kept us waiting forever for the bill and were horrible. Do not go there

Fantastic Hideaway

There are 2 parts of this hotel which are called Hutnik I and Hutnik II. Both parts are connected with the long corridor. I have stayed in Hutnik II. I was given very large double room with sofa bed, what was great for solo traveler. The allocated room had a fabulous furnished balcony. I have really enjoyed the space and comfort. The room it self was old fashiioned and simple, yet large outdoor balcony is fantastic. Bathroom was large too, yet very old fashioned. There is indoor swimming pool. it is not very large, yet enough. You can not use swimming pool daytime only 8 to 10 am and then 16 to 22 pm. This was rather odd, yet convenient as I have used pool in the morning and in the evening. I was offered half board for very reasonable price. The food was good and plenty, mostly eastern european evening meals with meats and continental style breakfast with some eggs. Overall, very good value for money and fantastic hideaway from busy life The place it self is located above very tiny village Matliare. You need to walk half an hour to nearest large village, where you can find grocery store and restaurants. However if you take half board you wont need much. I have recieved loyalty discount once i have paid my bill. That nice touch, especially when not expected
