Nice resort by the river with mountain view
Reviewed By SuchadaC39We first booked family room on raft, but I can assure you will be disappointed as picture on Agoda is really misleading. Real room is old, worn down and has no fridge. We paid for upgrade and moved uphill, then everything was satisfactory. Food was delicious with reasonable price, staff was helpful.

A Real Gem By The River Kwai
Reviewed By JimmyLovesJazzThis little boutique resort allowed me the peaceful and wonderful 2 night stay. My room, a deluxe King (no 1), offered a terrific river view, large space, great facilities and very comfy. Staffs are very kind and attention to details. Food was simple but just great. The resort located near by the famous Tham Kra Sae train station which I enjoyed jogging in the morning there. I would recommend this place for any traveler who seek for simple life, peaceful stay without any party or undesirable noise.

Nice surrounding nature but Poor Soundproofing with unmannered guests next door
Reviewed By ch_neuHotel environment itself is awesome with relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, 4 big-bike guests next door were annoying, making loud noise and drinking until next morning. Because of poor soundproofing, I needed to put my earplugs in all night otherwise I was unable to sleep at all. I wish I could just chill and take some fresh air on nice little balcony but they keep playing dance music and smoking in early morning. I ended up with checking out as soon as finishing my breakfast. My recommendation is to avoid wooden standard raft, go for deluxe one. It seems much nicer. stayed on 27 June 2020

The most beautiful room and relaxations of area. These individual huts with jungle setting are located on the bank of River Kwai Noi with air-conditioned twin, double-bed rooms and riverfront pool villas. ensuite bathroom with Hot and cold shower, a satellite TV, a refrigerator, a swimming pool, a restaurant and a seminar room, phone and fax services as well as hi-speed internet are available at the information center. All rooms are cozy and open up to a balcony allowing jungle wind brings freshness of the nature and the pleasant scent of wild flowers to replenish your sense of relaxation.

Reviewed By KJGoldmanThe hotel is small with cute decorations everywhere and a pleasant garden. There are not direct views of the river but you can walk there in 1 minute. The rooms are comfortable enough (pretty hard beds but ok). The main thing is the main manager speaks good English, gives very helpful information and was willing to arrange anything we wanted. She did anything to help us be comfortable and set up rafting, cave trip, etc.

Reviewed By 128bradleypThe location is great. It is remote, and quiet being away from the busy tourist areas. Bring your own food because there is not much around the area. The restaurant at the resort was not promoting any menus. There is one good restaurant nearby called Somai but it is a 10 minute drive. The star gazing at night is awesome and you can see the flights over head as they leave Bangkok on their way to the middle east and western Europe. The big negative is the condition if the cabins on the water. There are in a serous state of disrepair. To the point of being dangerous. The toilet was not working properly. The shower was awful and with a hole in the wall looking into the shower of the next cabin. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything in the next cabin. Even snoring and low conversations. Privacy is non existent. We found bugs in the bed each night. The front deck has just one chair. Why is that? Most people are in groups of two and someone ends up sitting on the floor. Don't ever bring small children as the deck has no protection from the fast moving river. Even if an adult falls into the river they will be swept away quickly. At night after a few drinks it can be risky. I am certain there have been accidents at this place in the river. The current is swift and deep. There are many good places on the river and I don't think this is one of them. The staff were great but not engaging or proactive. Just there. This might be a good place for large groups who want to make some noise and party. Have a good look around before you book.
