A lovely home which we have turned into a guesthouse. We have five lovely big bedrooms with en suite bathrooms - shower, no bath. The bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture. A communal lounge is available to sit and chat, read a book or play games. We have a braai/barbeque area which leads on to the pool where you can sit and relax

Wendi is the ideal hostess

We spent 2 nights there, in the Jasmine suite. It's well appointed, with an air conditioner, small fridge and all the creature comforts that guests might expect. Beautifully furnished as well. Wendi also insisted on helping carry our luggage to our suite. She cooked wonderful breakfasts. Her warm and friendly manner was a delight. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Wendi.

Fraai Uitzicht 1798

Simply stunning!

Reviewed By chrisversus

I grew up a few minutes away from Fraai Uitzicht in Klaasvoogds, Robertson and really wanted to have our engagement dinner there since my family would not be able to make it to the UK for the wedding with travel being so difficult at the moment. The setting is so stunning, it's take-your-breathe-away beautiful. Due to covid, they sadly do not take tables at the moment unless you are staying there but the manager Jonine was so lovely and made an exception for us. We worked with her by pre-ordering so they did not have to get extra food in just for us that may go to waste. The evening was amazing! It was 37 degrees that day (so a little bit hot, not complaining btw) but the perfect evening once the sun went down. The food was absolutely delicious and they have a fabulous wine list too, and you cannot fault the service. We had the best night, thank you so much again!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by Luc, Helga and the team. We arranged for an additional breakfast on the morning we arrived, as we'd travelled early and glad we did, it was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended if you are staying in Robertson. The accommodation is lovely, has a super relaxing feel, pretty and spacious gardens, secure parking, rooms are beautifully furnished with plenty of amenities. Breakfast is great as I've mentioned, but make sure you book for dinner, highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we are definitely booking again when we next visit Robertson and have already recommended you to friends!

Peaceful

Reviewed By Jill M

Located in a residential area, Cedar Lodge was very peaceful and welcoming. We and our friends had rooms upstairs; if you have mobility problems, these rooms would not be for you, the stairs are quite steep. Although there are several dachshund doggies on site, they might come and visit you but they're not intrusive. We had an excellent breakfast, if slightly longer than we'd reckoned on. We didn't realise till we saw the leaflet in our rooms that we could have asked for an evening meal on site. We'd stay at Cedar Lodge again.
