Beautiful place and excellent staff
Reviewed By MHSV_MGWe had a great time at Hotel Fazenda Pedra Selada. The highlights were the beautiful location and the amazing staff, that did everything to make our stay more enjoyable. The rooms are ample and comfortable, the WiFi is good and accessible throughout the hotel grounds, the facilities are good and there is plenty to do in the area. The fireplaces in the room are a nice touch. Breakfast and dinner were based on local dishes and products, which was great. The location is a bit remote, so be prepared for a 7 km drive on a dirty road.

Although is far from town, the distance is easily justified by the outstanding view and the peaceful place, giving you a completely different experience and a close encounter with nature. The prices are quite good, specially if you consider that they provide dinner (and a very tasty one). For sure we are coming back for another weekend. Congratulations!

Reviewed By gon_aloa654It's a nice place , very cozy and comfortable . The decoration and setting in the old monastery is quite interesting and peaceful. Had dinner once and the food was good as well. Good breakfast in terms of quality and quantity but not very diverse though. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this place for couples looking for a place near most of the attractions in Minho.

Great location, nice set-up
Reviewed By 960maartenrOn an old farm there are about 10 cabins set up on the edge of a small river. Very tranquil surroundings. They also keep a lot of animals and one can go horseback riding (which we did, and was quite nice). The presence of the animals makes it a nice place for families with small kids. And their presence takes away quite a bit from the tranquility of the place. Breakfast was god, with quite some choices. Dinner is served, but you can choose either from pizzas or soups. Freshly made, but expect to be served slowly.

close to everything but away from the crowd and noise
Reviewed By Sergio PPousada Tijupá sits in a secondary road, between Mauá and Maringá. It is very close to all the waterfalls and restaurants, but at the same time, distant from crowds and noises. The place is beautiful, well taken care, clean, and the chalets are very confortable. People are friendly and breakfast is very good. We spent 4 excellent nights there.

Reviewed By TlustosaWe endorse the previous reviews of this place: it's well located (close enough to all the attractions of Maringá, MG. as well as other parts of Visc. de Mauá, but sufficiently far away so that we feel we're in the middle of the tropical forest (Serra da Mantiqueira). It's a pleasure to be able to fall sleep listening to the river (rio Preto) nearby, and to wake up hearing the birds sing...while the hosts make their best to please their guests. They are a really nice couple, and the pousada is charming. I'd definitely like to go back asap!
