The ground floor welcomes you into a room used to have your breakfast. The first floor is composed of a common relaxation area and a small terrace where, during the summer time, you will be able to enjoy our rich breakfast, which consists of traditional Ragusan products. The first floor is composed of a reception and our three bright and spacious rooms, which are featured with balconies overlooking three different streets, which make every view unique. Furniture has been customised and made to fit different spaces, in this way our B&B has become an excellent small Hotel. Aurà is located in a strategic position.

Nice boutique hotel in the middle of Ragusa
Reviewed By yellowmavMy family and I came here for 1 night, The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast had lots of choices and you can have as many items as you like. You can eat breakfast in a nice glass room or outdoor where they had chairs and tables with breathtaking views. I would like to mention that the pool is a bit small and rooms do not have a kitchen but else, I loved this accommodation.

A 5-min walk uphill the property leads to the perfect picture spot that offers a panoramic view with the blue-domed church. Room is simply decorated but very clean. Shower is very good. Breakfast is quite a spread with all the essential choices. The hosts are a very friendly couple. It’s great value for money.

The proprietor, Nanni, was unbelievable to the two of us; he answered all our questions before we even asked, the room was speckless with a view that is still etched in my mind, the breakfast was not only filling but extremely tasteful. With a secret door down some steps into the base of the quaint old city, you’re ideally situated to drink coffee before wandering up and around the many unique quarters, as well as within striking distance of a very well situated beer stand (brick kiosk) run by Josepo. What a delight, we stayed 2 extra days!

Constanza welcomed us with an upgrade to our room (there are only four here in this sweet, family-run place) since we were on our honeymoon. The room was quiet, cool, and had plenty of space for us to stretch out. Breakfast in the morning was truly a delight—Costanza shared her mother’s homemade strawberry granita in addition to beautiful local cheeses, fruit, and pastries. This was one of our favorite stays during our two weeks in Sicily; we would highly recommend to anyone for a simple, comfortable stay with an amazing location in Ragusa Ibla.

Our b&b has got different thematic suites . we receive our guests from 3 pm until 6 pm , but we're always answer the phone , so call us when you want. The b&b sites at 300 mt from Sn.John cathedral and you can reach Ibla by taking the famous ''299 stairs'' . Our structure is on a pedonal street but our parking is at only 30 mt from the palace , it will be a pleasure to help you to parking and taking your luggages. Our little romantic hotel doesn't have public rooms , you will pass your stay only with your lover , in absolute relax and peace.you can try our private massages and you can dine by candlelight , accompained by apetizers , enjoy these highly romantic moments .
The perfect weekend break for our anniversary!
Reviewed By Lynn ZMy husband and I spent 2 nights in the Key West superior suite for our anniversary. Daniela and her daughter kindly picked us up at the airport and pointed out some shops and restaurants on the way to the B&B - they even offered to carry our bags to the room from the parking! The room was amazing - very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is conveniently located right between Ragusa Superiore and Ragusa Ibla, prefect for visiting the upper and lower part. There are around 250 steps leading down to Ragusa Ibla - We managed to get around by foot just fine but for those with mobility issues, I highly suggest to take a car. After sightseeing around Ragusa, we looked forward to going back to the room and relax in the jacuzzi. Morning breakfast was also perfect. Every morning Daniela would come to see what type of coffee we preferred and prepared a nice spread of Sicilian style pastries in our room. On one of the days we also visited Marina Di Ragusa - bus times were a bit confusing at first but one of the locals was kind enough to explain. You can buy a 2 way ticket using the Tumino bus. In the evening we had a couple's massage booked which was perfect to unwind and relax. After that we were surprised to find the jacuzzi ready and next to it a beautifully prepared platter of local delicacies - cheeses, meat, pasta and bread, including sparkling wine - pure bliss! On the last day we had a late flight, however Daniela was kind enough to offer another room (junior suite) at a small extra charge in order to checkout later. When it was time to leave, Daniela and John kindly took us back to the airport. I can say this has been one of the best anniversaries we have had so far and would definitely recommend it to other couples. We cannot thank the hosts enough and we hope to be back soon! :)

La Locanda e un esempio di antica casa ragusana, sita nel cuore storico della citta, vicinissima a Ragusa Ibla. Tutte le camere hanno un bagno privato con doccia, aria condizionata, TV, frigorifero. Inoltre, la casa e composta da un soggiorno ed un cucinino. Tutte le mattine viene servita una colazione continentale con prodotti tipici, gran parte dei quali preparati dalla proprietaria: marmellate, biscotti farciti, pan di spagna, ciambellone, focacce salate, ricotta, caciocavallo. Viene servito anche un piccolo cocktail di benvenuto e, agli ospiti che ne fanno richiesta, viene anche preparato un pranzo ragusano tipico.

Our hostess, Concetta, was very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was very clean, well presented and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. Our breakfasts, taken in Concetta's house down the road, were delicious and attractively presented. Concetta suggested places to visit and she also booked us a restaurant for our first evening meal in Ragusa.

Reviewed By ortigia1500What you will notice first is the beauty of the view. You are at the top of Ragusa Ibla, with the dome of the Duomo more or less at eye level. Beyond is a beautiful, spare, almost stylized-seeming landscape. Then you will notice how kind and helpful Katia, the hostess, is. Then you will thrill at the beauty and serenity of your room. Ours was the ground floor room, with a beautiful arched ceiling. I thought it might be noisy to be on the ground floor, but I never heard a car pass or a person make a peep (you are almost as high in the town as you can go, so there is nobody just passing by for no reason. By the way, that position makes it relatively easy to find a parking place on the street. Breakfast is delicious and generous, with lots of local specialties. We particularly loved the little individual basket of fresh ricotta with the sun-dried tomatoes in oil, but there is everything you can think of to choose from. Katia gave us exceptionally good advice about how to organize our day, and we followed it to the letter, and came home very satisfied with everything we had seen and done. Ragusa itself is absolutely lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We couldn't recommend Duomo Relais more warmly.
