Reviewed By florianl518Hôtel is in front of the sea with a nice swimming pool. Welcoming and service are great. Rooms are simple and bed comfortable. We spent one night before taking a boat in Preveza and it was great. Breakfast is also very good. We recommend this place.

Unreliable and rude
Reviewed By George PWe booked and wished to stay for two nights. They told us we would need to move to a different room the second morning and although we confirmed we were willing to transfer once in person and twice over the phone they later called us to say they gave it to someone else and no room was available for our second night (this information came to us at 20:00). The night we did stay the internet was unreliable, we spotted two cockroaches outside the room, there was no remote for the tv, and they converted the sofa into a bed although we specified that we were a couple. The street where the house is located has no lights and is in the new part of the town which is very ugly and feels unsafe. Moreover it is very narrow and if you park your car there you ll be stressed over its safety. Kitchen is not well equipped and some appliances were present in the kitchen cabinet that were dirty and old. Some light bulbs were malfunctioning in the bathroom and the room was not soundproofed so we could hear the other rooms toilets and people talking. The host was extremely rude and seemed to only care about ripping you off and drinking your blood. The price for this place is an utter joke. Would not revisit again even if there was no other place.

Little gem
Reviewed By gazelle99UkFabulous hotel with great pool. We had a loft room which was great for the kids. Beds were super comfy. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful - recommendation for the dolphin trip and best places to visit in Preveza. We didn’t have a car but just a quick taxi ride into town.

A hidden gem
Reviewed By 453jaredwWe stayed at Melydron for a week at the end of May. We took a chance on the place based on the reviews on here, even if there wasn't too many. We went for the Premium Double room, but I am certain that there isn't a bad one amongst the 12 available. The photos provided by Melydron on their website and on the booking sites are a totally accurate representation of the accommodation. The bed had a really comfortable mattress, the balcony had a wonderful view of the sea, and the bathroom had a great shower. The apartments are literally right next to the sea, and as I was sat on a lounger by the pool reading I could hear the waves gently tumbling onto the shore. There's a gate to get to the sea, whilst not a big sandy beach, there is a few little patches of sand offering a way into the water which is fairly shallow (up to my waist). The sea floor is lots of large stones, not sharp and jagged. I found the sea to be warmer than the pool, which was surprising. The pool was a nice size, and very refreshing for a quick dip as temperatures were hitting 30 degrees C plus. There is a lovely bar next to the pool where you can get snacks, gorgeous iced coffees and beautiful freshly squeezed orange juice, as well as smoothies, cocktails and the usual alcoholic beverages. The staff are just wonderful, extremely friendly and really helpful, whether it's something you need for the room, or a taxi into town. We were even asked the day before we were due to leave if we needed our apartment to be serviced (they do them every 2 days, which is plenty) The location is a positive and a negative, it's on an old dusty road away from amenities and the town, but it's remoteness is very much a massive part of it's charm as you can really enjoy peace and quiet. The town of Preveza is 1.5KM away with many bars & very nice restaurants, we highly recommend Barrio for some brunch! There's also a lively marina with lots of boats, yachts and catamarans. You can walk (about 30 mins at a gentle pace) and see the chickens, sheep & donkey on the way. Also along the way are several coastal bars and restaurants, we particularly liked St George's but all the ones we tried were good, who can resist a drink and a snack next to the sea with beautiful views? If you don't want to walk a taxi can be at Melydron in 5 mins and costs only 5 euros each way, which is a bargain when it's really hot. We had a wonderful stay, the accommodation, location and staff were lovely, perfect for couples and people after quiet.

Nice water park and nice service
Reviewed By Стефка ШWe were there 25th of August - 1st of September 2018. The only disadvantage is the location - without a car one is lost. However hotel is worthy - a very good Greek food, kind hotel administration. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view is nice. The beach is close - may be 5 minutes walking distance. Recommend it - a very good place for quiet family holiday and a paradise for children with its water park.

Cozy and clean hotel , ideal for families
Reviewed By PanagoisWe have visited Vrachos several times but this year was the first time we stayed at Vrachos beach hotel and definitely our best choice by far. The rooms were very clean , the personnel was very polite and friendly and always there to fulfill our needs. They even recommended some beaches nearby ideal for families when it is windy(Skala and Alonaki). We will definitely come back again ?

This is a new hotel surrounded by a variety of trees and flowers. It includes both private pools (4 ground floor rooms) and shared (4 rooms on the 1st floor), pool bar and parking. Features all modern amenities, including excellent WiFi and Smart TV's. The distance from the beach of Alonaki (Ionian Sea) is only 250 meters, while the distance from the city of Preveza is 1.8km.

Reviewed By Riccardo LUn oasi di pace e tranquillità a soli 5 min di taxi (5€) dal centro e 15 min di taxi dall’aeroporto (20€) posizionato a meno di 5 min a piedi dal mare, la struttura si presenta benissimo ottima pulizia e personale gentilissimo e disponibile. I proprietari sono sempre sul posto e pronti a qualsiasi richiesta. Ottima pulizia e ottimo cibo, colazione molto varia. Ci si può andare tranquillamente anche con bambini.

Great little find in perfect location

Perfect location for restaurants and bars. Do visit To Tempelxaneio for dinner on the corner. Superb meal. Really friendly hosts at this property too.

Unexpected elegant hotel in the Centre
Reviewed By arzucuCentral, brilliant location; extremely clean and old style elegance; clean chandelier, cut glass cups; lace underneath of jugs, Ran by firm, efficient and charming Madam Anastasia. Harbor and streets full of delicious bars/tavernas only few hundred yards away. Food is simply amazing and very affordable. In the morning, bakery near by is wonderful with many cafes. Breakfast in the hotel included home made jam and cake.Like being back to your aunts place. Clean and comfortable beds, air-conditioning.Had a sound sleep after a week in the sea. Brilliant for the price as well.
