Reviewed By Matkailijalainenrelaxing holiday in peaceful atmosphere surrounding by different birds singing and nature. Very nice staff! I want to go back some day, definitely stress went away. We were staying economy/standard rooms and they were clean and nice. In our room we had little visitors from the jungle but it didnt bother us :) (frog, little lizards etc) breakfast was nice and the pool area too!

'Manora Garden B&B' is a small B & B in a rubbertree plantation. Nui & Gerard are the owners of this lovely place. It is on the way to a nearby waterfall. There is a central livingroom. Coffee, tea and drinking water is free during your stay. Wifi in most of the rooms and for sure in the central area. In the garden are several sitting areas, each bungalow has its own terrace. 'Manora Garden B &B' is about 4 kms from Phangnga town. It is a very nice homestay style B&B. From 'Manora Garden' you can easily go around and visit local people & spots. We will help you with good advice. It is an ideal place for nature lovers! Walking, cycling, motorbiking is all possible. The Dutch owner and his Thai partner are very helpfull in organising trips. Most people will make a Phangnga bay tour and we can help you with that too. Good breakfast =125 bt. Dinner at home OR in town 80-140 baht ( free transport) We hope to see you soon!

They were friendly, generous and attentive to our needs , such as offering extra meals, and organising interesting places to visit ,and literally going the extra mile .It was interesting to learn about local area and the way of life . Manora Gardens itself is an attractive tranquil ,bungalows set in gardens and an easy walk or ride to manora waterfalls , sleeping only to the sounds from the frog pound and birds song at dawn ..Gérard and Nui' s hosting , would be a reason itself to return to Pheng Nga .

Good short stay
Reviewed By Camdu1Dropped off in town and looked at a couple of aging guesthouses before finding the Sleep. Paid 500 bt for a double room on the 3rd floor. It was compact but clean and quiet AC. The bathroom is tiny but plenty of hot water. The staff didn't speak much English but they were friendly and helpful. Help yourself to coffee and sit outside at the small terrace. Excellent day market and night food market is 5 mins walk. Like other reviews I did the boat trip with MT tours see Mr. Hassim down the street. An enjoyable way to see the amazing karsts and the Phangnga bay national Park. Recommended for a stopover.

Reviewed By KevinColumbusThis hotel offers a fun and authentic experience of Thailand. Thaweesuk Boutique Homestay is a cozy hotel in the middle of Phang Nga. It's very close to Phang Nga Bay where you can go cave kayaking, visit the beautiful James Bond Island and the small island village of Panyee. Tours leave right from your hotel. The hotel owner, Dang, is immensely hospitable. He speaks very good English and will do whatever he can to help you see everything there is to see in the area. Dang and I drove scooters around town to see buddest temples, ancient cave paintings, waterfalls and even monkeys. Dang even took me to his organic farm where we ate fresh coconut! There's an amazing night market just a short walk from the hotel that serves fresh grilled skewers. I would buy dinner and beers from the market every night and bring it back to the hotel's patio. One day I met some of Dang's friends who offered to take me up to a lookout point. The next morning we left before dawn and drove up a steep hill where we got to watch the sunrise over Phang Nga Bay. It was one of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen in my life. This hotel offers a small town Thailand experience. The people are friendly , there's next to no tourists, Dang is a fantastic host and beautiful nature experiences are at your fingertips. I highly recommend a few days stay at Thaweesuk especially for people looking for something more adventurous.

Good for the money
Reviewed By SocialtruantI stayed in this place for two weeks while visiting and working in the area. The good things about the place are that the shower is good and hot. The Wifi is fast and smooth, without the normal drop in service at peak time. And the owner or manager is a very nice chap with a good level of English. The bad? The counter staff really could do with upping their language level. Even when using Google translate to get my point across, things often went pear-shaped. As an example, trying to order a taxi for the airport the next morning failed twice. Seriously, how hard can it be, or how wrong can Google translate go with. I need a Taxi 11:00 tomorrow But other than that, if you need to be in this part of the world, it's pretty good for the price.

Could be so much better
Reviewed By Cathy PThere are not a lot of big hotel choices in Phang Nga Town so after some research we decided to stay at the Phang Nga Inn on Petchakaseam Rd which is just off the main road through the town. Initial impressions were what a cute quaint place this is. It is an old house converted into rooms with an amazing teak staircase in the middle of the house and lots of plants everywhere. We paid 1500baht for their family room as the other rooms were quite tiny and our room was like something from a time warp, lots of plastic flowers everywhere, little ornaments etc. The bed and pillows were extremely hard, they are up there with the hardest we have ever slept on and Wi-Fi was virtually nonexistent. To shower you need to stand in the bath which is not very well supported it creaks, moves and flexes so you feel as though you are going to go straight through the bathtub, however there was plenty of hot water. There was also a pretty bad odor coming from the drain in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price however due to being sick we did not stay for this, it also did not help that there was an overwhelming stench of petrol in the reception area which is also where you have breakfast and the parking area for motor bikes. This place could really be beautiful if they would just fix a few little things up and update the rooms, the staff are lovely and very helpful, they could not do enough for you but for 1500baht I would not stay here again.

Reviewed By ConorOLearyThis little resort is very cute. There is no frills attached, it is exactky what you see. Super nice and freindly owners and staff, when my Son wanted to go fishing in the river beside, the staff went out and dug up worms for him. They have various room type. Where we stayed were very clean and nice. Breakfast is very basic but it is a very cheap little place in a lovely natural part of Thailand.
