Gorgeous location, nice digs, would denitely return
Reviewed By W0w_WandaWe stayed only one night but thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We all recommend highly & did not want to leave. Stunning views from rooftop deck/breakfast area of the Sea & surriunding mountains. Can use the hotel's secret staircase to get to rocks & sea below or else go a few steps to small public or other private beaches. We did walk in early morning to Sestra to the south, beautiful walk, although you do walk next to the road that can be busy & tunnel like, but a only for 5-7 minutes & you are out and back along the open road/beach. The man who checked us in made us feel welcomed & happy to be there. He helped us place our car in their free onsite lot, gave us a discount card for a delicious restaurant down the street (il Cigno), & gave us free bottled water. Their breakfast was served rooftop with a full spread & coffee service-absolutely delicious with gracious service. Our rooms while not large were well organized, clean, with decent sized baths. We were in rooms facing courtyard & quite quiet. A gem & well worth a few days or more. Great location for sightseeing North to Portofino & Santa Margherita or else Cinque Terra to the South by train or car.

Said this, the place is clean and the mangers friendly. Acceptable breakfast on a pleasant terrace, sadly without sea view. It might appeal a young, low budget clientele.

Reviewed By Mantua57Well positioned in downtown Lavagna, close to the sea and the train station, this hotel offers a very kind service with a remarkable cuisine especially on local proposals based on fish, soups and traditional Italian pasta. All essentials (WiFi, air conditioning, fenced car parking, lift, very clean ) no frills. Good for families and couples looking for relax). Here a view from a room on the backyard.

Wonderful villa of the last century with a garden, panoramic view of the Italian Riviera between Sestri Levante and Portofino Nine rooms completely renovated with a family suite with large furnished terrace overlooking the sea and junior suite with romantic loggia overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio. The family farm ensures daily fresh products and a genuine olive oil in the rich breakfast buffet

While the drive up the hills isn’t easy, it’s well worth it. A little piece of paradise. Make sure to eat breakfast because it’s so good. They grow their own vegetables and fruits, so everything is very fresh. I left my sunglasses and Michael called me and said he will send them to me at my next stop. This is testament to the great service. Thank you Olivenere! We will be back and recommend to everyone!

The parking is on street parking (rather than for the hotel specifically) you are able to get a space but it may take a bit of patience as the spaces go quickly! The rooms had excellent air con which was very appreciated. It was a good nights sleep, comfortable bed, clean etc. Breakfast is sufficient - nothing particularly exciting.

A hidden treasure
Reviewed By Sestri85If I could give this hotel more stars I would. Hidden up in the hills of Santa Giulia is this luxurious, tranquil hideaway. The 6 rooms all have their own unique design. The panoramic views will have you lost looking at the Ligurian coast and mountains. The staff are 5 star, Leo and his team at the restaurant offer the most exquisite dining experience, led by Head Chef - Alessandro who’s menu is simply divine (you want to try it all) Villa Riviera oozes elegance, class and romance. I would recommend it to anyone.. it was the perfect way to end our holiday. To all the staff here, thank you so much.

La location è molto rilassante e fuori dalla confusione ma a 5' da lavagna e pulita. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono. Lo consiglio a chi cerca relax e ad allontanasi dalla città .
