Reviewed By Mike SWe stayed at Zomay for 3 nights and had the best time. It’s honestly perfectly located due to the positioning of the sunset in the evening. The beach bar plays great house music if the weather is nice and it’s the most vibey place to enjoy the sunset with a drink. The private beach area is small, but not too small to be crowded. We ordered drinks and food to our loungers quite a few times and the food was always a hit. Can’t go wrong with the taco’s here. The staff all seem to be friends which improved the fun and welcoming nature of the place, despite it consisting almost solely of couples. The only negative might be the room, which is fairly basic, but we didn’t come here to sit in the room all day, so it wasn’t too much of a big deal that it felt tired and a lack of light filtered in. Lastly, this place was good value. The inclusive breakfast is great and the sun loungers are free to use. Would recommend!

Its just a few blocks from the beach and so reasonable in price compared to the very expensive beach front accommodations. It was wonderfully quiet there in the night....no loud bars and blaring music nearby. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. WiFi very good in the room. The room was cleaned every day. We felt very safe here.

Reviewed By wecrushredOur room was perfect right on the edge of the beach, clean, and great staff! This hotel is quiet, but only a couple of blocks from the town. You can walk around the point, literally a couple of hundred feet, if you want some action, i.e. music, but return to a relaxing beach that this hotel offers. The bar/restaurant staff is who you come in contact with the most. Andrea and Luis are the best! Andrea can make a mean mojito, and Lazaro, the chef doesn't disappoint with his ceviche among other dishes.

Reviewed By Sarin MHolbox is a beautiful island but also getting more busy with tourists. Ensueño is the perfect place when you want to feel that relaxed island vibe, away from the busy crowds. This is paradise! The staff is super friendly and make you feel more then welcome. They keep the hotel and garden in very good conditions. The rooms are nice and clean and all have a private terrace with hammock. You could really stay here all day long… oh and the beach club is definitely the best on the whole beach!

Awesome Place to Stay!

This was our 3rd time to Holbox and the other couples first time and we couldn't have been happier with our hotel choice. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including a safe and filtered drinking water refilled each day. The hotel has a restaurant on site and breakfast is included each morning. We enjoyed many lunches and a few dinners here as well. The french fries were a big hit with our group! The beach service was a little hit or miss but we didn't mind walking to the bar to get our drinks. The on-site masseuse is wonderful but expect US prices. Totally worth it though. The two small pools were great for a quick dip. The location was perfect - not too far from town but not too close to be bothered by the noise that has invaded Holbox :( I wish Holbox was still the sleepy little island it once was but things are changing. Thankfully Casa Iguana has that old school Holbox charm that we adore.

The hotel is very clean and you see the staff cleaning daily. Daily cleaning of the rooms and daily clean towels. Daily good quality bio amenities: soap, liquid soap and shampoo A/C in the rooms and tv Closet and hangers Bathrooms with enough space Breakfast buffet. Continental: yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, fruit, bread, cheese and jam. Free potable water. They give you two bottles when you arrive and you can refill them as much as you need to avoid plastic waste. 5 minutes walking from the beach and 30 minutes walking from the pier Structure and furniture is new and well kept. Good matress and pillows Cons Wifi never worked (I think is something common in all the island) Breakfast can be improved with more protein like eggs. Bed is not too big. Maybe a problem for big people. We are thin and slept ok. The pipes smell a little bad sometimes. Water pressure very low In general, perfect stay and amazing hospitality, which I value the most.

Reviewed By 960theapVilla Los Mangles has a lovely homely feel, located only a 2 minute stroll from the beach. The room was spacious and had everything you need. The garden area is perfect for unwinding in a hammock. You can also climb to the top of the building and overlook the mangroves. Manolo and the staff are very friendly and so are the two dogs that lived there.

I'm talking from experience. 1 block fro. Lively beach but if you go back along beach past town, the beaches are good. Breakfast is not huge, but enough to keep you going till lunchtime. Rooms are of good size with ultra modern lighting & good ari conditioning with fan. Don't expect continuous hot water. For me was not a problem as I find cool water quite refreshing. The staff are very knowledgeable and if you ask, they will organise for you. I would definitely recommend as it is lovely & quiet, but within 10 mins walk from town or short taxi. I recommend la cabana pizza Italian restaurant on next block to eat, great pizzas

Reviewed By tehyasuttonthe hotel is under construction which is super loud. the water has been shut off numerous times. the only available fridge setting is frozen. we are travelling with an infant and we’re told that they would provide a crib but what we were given was very broken down and unsafe. the staff does not speak any english and they have not been very accommodating. was not as advertised. would not recommend.
