Quirky boutique hotel, fabulous staff and incredible views!
Reviewed By Escape14955272499· A little gem hidden away in an alley in Taxco but only minutes walk from the town center. Our room was located on the rooftop so we had total access to the incredible terrace views. Loved having breakfast and sundowners while soaking in the views. The staff were friendly and attentive. Effrin, our host spoke excellent English and gave us many great tips of what to see and how to get around the city during our stay. One of the highlights was the Temazcal spa treatment he recommended (and performed) that our whole family partook in. I highly recommend this traditional Pre Hispanic spa experience to learn more about the culture. We would love to come back to stay at Hotel Posada!

Beautiful Hotel
Reviewed By kreiniMy husband and I spent the week of January 30th to February 6th at this lovely small hotel just a short walk from La Ropa. We have been to Zihuatanejo many times but this was our first at Real de Palma. Everyone from the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. I loved the atmosphere and the hospitality. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Great Location, Awesome Value, Nice new Pool
Reviewed By George LHad a great time at Villas Ximena. We stayed here for 5 days on our last trip to Zihua and really enjoyed it. The property is kept very clean and they were just inaugurating their new pool. The location is great - less than 5 minutes walking to centro, the beach and the municipal market. Would have given 5 stars if the kitchens were better equipped. They worked great for simple meals but they only have 1 pot and 1 pan and they don;t have blenders. I am a big smoothie guy so I was a little disappointed to not have a blender.

Nothing fancy, just perfect. Great little lounge pool Talked with a lot of the guests and there is a lot of them that are repeat guests every year. They love it as well. Will definitely stay again.

You can hike to the mountain crystal cave, ride horseback, take bike rides (bike rentals are nearby) or enjoy world class surfing. Or you can simply relax in your quiet a/c suite with an unobstructed ocean view, lounge in hammocks, or relax by our beautiful oceanside infinity pool. We have an outdoor fully equipped kitchen for your cooking needs. We also have a yoga pavilion, massage room and infinity pool directly overlooking the sea. Troncones is now practicing organic methods and recycles weekly. We are fortunate to have a weekly organic farmers market at Tres Mujeres Hotel where you can get organic fresh produce and gifts. We are the chosen honeymoon and wedding destination for an exquisite beach wedding. We are only 25 minutes away from the international airport for Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo.

Love the pool and open kitchen fully equipped for cooking fresh seafood. Pet friendly! If you want to go horseback riding on the beach ask for Luis. Will be back again for my birthday! Welcome to your house on the beach!Hotel Casa Sun and Moon is located over La Madera beach is the center of Zihuatanejo bay. We are an easy 10 minute walk to the central village of Zihuatanejo or an equal distance in the opposite direction to nearby La Ropa beach.Several restaurants and bars are close by to stroll to or order in, as you wish. Highly regarded, Hotel Casa Sun and Moon is Mexican colonial in architecture. It is situated on a breathtaking cliff over the beach. Quiet and private, we have a lovely cliff side swimming pool in a tropical garden setting. A friendly, family atmosphere exudes in this three level hotel setting with wide terraces and expansive views of the bay and mountains.

Reviewed By magoo093We booked and paid ahead but couldn’t stay in this place. This was more a converted storage space than a room. OK if you are a “hobbit “. Do not, I repeat, do not book ahead. They have alternate rooms across the street and you wouldn’t want to stay in them either. Shame on you for even thinking anyone could stay here.

Reviewed By Maureen MMy daughter and I stayed for 9 Nights, we wished it was longer. We liked the location , very quiet, short walk to La Ropa beach and some restaurants. Also close to the bus stop or taxi stand. we did not find English TV, so we just did without, Noe and staff very nice.

The inner Casa was the perfect choice for a couple (thanks Pam)! The interior design and the landscaping were exquisite and emaculate. Communication prior to, during and after our stay was prompt and ever so helpful. Only steps to the beach. Completely loved our stay here. Date of stay: January 2022

Wonderful Family Hotel
Reviewed By Elaine EI have stayed at the Hotel Posada Santa Anita numerous times over the years. The family that owns it lives onsite and is very friendly. It is not a luxury hotel but it is comfortable and accessible to everything. Get up to the Zocolo by micro bus or taxi then walk back down the hill to the hotel. Located on the main lower street and beside the bus depot it is a convenient location. The views are spectacular. They have free parking (which is a premium in Taxco) This is not a luxury hotel, it is a budget traveler hotel.

Reviewed By Cesar Blow budget, yet clean rooms and food, beach was the best bang for my buck, i will go back again. it has beautiful scenery, tranquil and peaceful, the staff very helpful indeed. remember this was a family outing. in one occasion the hotel was to ourselves. a lonely cat greet us at the entrance of the hotel, it just a family feel to it, with out the hassle of a huge hotel.
