The most beautiful place to stay right in the heart of Florence. Stunning views of the Duomo from the bedroom windows, felt like we had been transported back to how they lived during the Medici era. The palace has been beautifully restored and maintained. Lovely choice of breakfast and beverages served in the stunning drawing room with its beautifully painted ceiling and walls. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend a stay as it is a truly magical palace and very reasonably price given its location and overall quality. I look forward to returning!

DO NOT BOOK, THEY DO NOT WORK WITH TRIPADVISOR

Reviewed By wockitout

Booked this hotel thinking it was such a good deal, should have known something was off. As soon as I booked I got a confirmation email but the link to the hotel's confirmation website did not work (blank page). This made me a little worried so I contacted Tripadvisor and they told me that the booking was 100% confirmed, however, upon contacting the hotel they were adamant that they do not even work with Tripadvisor. Meanwhile, Tripadvisor insists that the booking was confirmed and I had to deal with the hotel themselves even though they are not affiliated. I'm not sure which side is lying, but if you book here you will not get a room. Don't be left homeless on the day you arrive, find somewhere else to book. By the time I found all this out, hotels near the area had gone from $500 CAD for 4 nights to $1600 CAD for 4 nights.

Our second visit - it's a lovely place to stay !

Reviewed By PhilM1674

We chose to return to Al Palazzo as we loved it the first time - and it's still a wonderful place to stay ! This visit we had the Garden Suite which was a huge room with a four-poster bed, separate dressing area and bathroom. Our view was the garden area where breakfast was served. We really do like this hotel - the staff are friendly, very efficient and cannot do too much to help. The location is perfect for strolling around the narrow, central streets of Florence. If you want a hotel bar and restaurant then you need to look elsewhere - no such facilities at Al Palazzo but you are surrounded by wine bars and restaurants. It really is a lovely, relaxing, stylish place to stay.

La Maison du Sage

Conveniently located in front of the Pazzi Chapel in Santa Croce's square, La Maison du Sage enjoys the view of one of the most evocative glimpses of the facade and the sides of the magnificent basilica. The 1,000 square meters facilities are divided between the first and second floor of a Liberty Building, completely restored in 2016 and equipped with a modern glass elevator. The age of the building determined the choice of the property to give a sign of continuity between inside and outside electing the Art Déco the dominant style of its interior design. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, minibar, flat-screen satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine and water kettle for tea. The Mini Suites are also equipped with a sitting area that can accommodate a third guest, while the Suite, which measures 50 square meters, has a real living area with a convertible sofa. In the common areas there are two computers, books, magazines, Italian and foreign newspapers and the entire structure is covered by free WIFI. In one of the living room our guests can also take an afternoon break with tea and biscuits and every day is offered a small aperitif around 7.00pm.

For the mandatory anti-Covid-19 sanitization we used an ozone machine. Normal cleaning will then be carried out based on certified products such as bleach. For each room we use different colored cloths that are bacteriologically washed at the end of each use. Residenza d’Epoca Palazzo Riblet Is on the first floor of a nice historical listed building in the city center ( Santa Maria Novella area ) at walking distance to/from The Duomo/Ponte Vecchio and all the main attractions. We have recently installed a lift and the Reception is on the third floor c/o our other property Bellevue House. The property offers 3 high-ceilinged rooms flanking a long, light-blue hall. One of them (Carolina) has a frescoed ceiling, a private loggia (also frescoed) and terrace overlooking a lush garden, typical Florentine-style terracotta rooftops and the Ognissanti Church’s belfry. The décor features antique wooden furniture and all rooms have a bathroom en-suite . Once you get to our main entrance on the street, you will press the buzzer under the Bellevue House/Palazzo Riblet sign. One us will come down and greet you. For the check-in, i.e., passport registration, you will briefly come upstairs to Bellevue House. We are sure that you will enjoy!

We were also provided with a bunch of welcome snacks and a great bottle of Chianti when we checked in. I would strongly recommend staying here the next time you visit Florence.

Very convenient and comfortabel

Reviewed By JohnJTravels

We stayed here for a week in September 2019. It is a very convenient little hotel/ B&B. Close to the railway station and within walking distance of Florence city centre and all that it has to offer. There are several, shops, bars, cafes and restaurants close by. The staff are friendly and very helpful, they gave us a city map on arrival and heaps of information on how to get around and things to do. Our room was spotless clean and had everything required, air conditioning, fridge, television, safe. A pleasant continental style breakfast was served every morning with terrific coffee. I would recommend the Marbo B&B to anybody and definitely a place to return to should we ever visit Florence again.
