Reviewed By dmull305My wife and I stayed there last week and it was just wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, beautiful premises, rooms were clean and well appointed. We had a wonderful, large shower. Breakfast was included. Also had dinner and drinks in the evening. It was just lovely. I would definitely recommend staying. Plan on going back and will definitely be staying at The Golden Frog Inn.

The communal areas / gardens were nice, for a cheap and cheerful hotel I can't complain. Everything was well within walking distance. There were some ants in the bathroom, which is common for tropical places so it's not a big deal but just be aware it's that kind of place. Also, not the hotel's fault, but it was very windy overnight when we stayed (which isn't uncommon) and the wind was deafening in the room, you could hear gates clanging and stuff being blown around and all sorts. I'm the type who can sleep through most things but even I struggled, I've never known anything like it! Also there was building work going on next door which was loud during the day. Because of these things I probably wouldn't stay again, BUT it was cheap so you get what you pay for, it was OK for the money.

Reviewed By kristendef98At first my boyfriend and I were looking to stay in a "millennial" vibe hostel nearby, but I am SO glad we found Los Aramos!! The grounds are absolutely stunning, with a sprawling garden that was so beautiful to walk around in. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating with all our needs (even a late check out!). Our room was very clean and comfortable, and had the most adorable spiral stairs up to it. There is also a "lodge" building that was nice to explore. I would highly recommend Los Aramos, and would love to come back with friends and rent one of the villas.

Reviewed By AmritaJWhat can I say about this hotel. For starters the location is absolutely perfection El Valle de Antón. Walking distance to the Main Street and surrounded by beautiful homes and lush greenery. The rooms were comfortable and charming as were the gardens particularly at night with all the lights. The dinners were wonderfully prepared and served with love. The best thing about this hotel is the warmth of the staff. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.

Reviewed By WeltenhuhnIn der Villa Victoria hatte ich ein kleines hübsches Häuschen mit TV, Kühlschrank und Kochgelegenheit. Dazu gehört ein Pavillon mit Hängematte, Sofa und Tisch. Wirklich sehr schön. Alles auch sehr sauber. Alan hat es auch. Im schönen Garten sieht man immer wieder Kolibris herumfliegen. Villa Victoria liegt sehr zentral. Man kann El Valle gut zu Fuss erkunden. Maria Victoria ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin.

The place is set on a beautiful, locked- fenced piece of land with lots of bird attracting foliage and the owner puts out fruit to attract birds (quite successfully I might add) as you sit on the patio enjoying her home-cooked breakfast. Her coffee, which is grown in Cocle province, is superb. We purchased some, at her advice at a local store. Very quiet. Good bed. An overall great experience.

What a beautiful place... and eco-friendly

The hotel is situated a bit on the edge of town, so you'll need a car to get to restaurants, but the Rey supermarket is walkable. The pool was a nice bonus, but we would have been happy just hanging out on the hammocks We will definitely be back.

Jose will show you the countryside, and is a great companion on mountain and river treks. The morning breakfast is something special, and the coffee is very good.
