There is a place in the Eastern Hills of Friuli (Colli Orientali del Friuli) which is a real heartland. Here the family values find their most sincere expression in producing great wines. IL RONCAL is a small estate of 20 hectares set on terraces on Colle Montebello (Montebello Hill), in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, only 3 km faraway from the historical center of one of the most important lombard cities, Cividale del Friuli (UNESCO site). Here Martina Moreale carries on the project of her husband Roberto, founder of the winery. Day after day, the diligent care of this land offers its best fruits, harvested to create high-quality wines. Simply the excellence for the costumers. Directly next to the wine cellar there is an antique residence which has recently been renovated and typically furnished. For the guests of IL RONCAL the farmhouse provides an attractive possibility to stay overnight and to relax while enjoying the beautiful landscape of the region. The farmhouse has been furnished combining the traditional Friulian style with a modern touch, with special care to the surrounding landscape. IL RONCAL offers its guests moments of relaxation and enjoyment. Far away from the hectic rush of big cities, IL RONCAL is a place where visitors can enjoy the beautiful nature, the elegant facilities of the property as well as the impressing garden with its olive trees and cypresses. Reviewed By Stéphane Lwe staid for two nights and loved the place: great rooms with AC, nice bed room, beautiful swimmingpool overlooking the wineyards, great breakfast with fresh orange juice and a lot of different dishes. The building is nice and it is a fantastic place to relax, as it is beautiful and quite; a good place to visit Udine, Cividale or nearby cities when you've got a car.

The Bed & Breakfast "Casa Carbonara" it is found in center to Cividale of the Friuli, to the side of the pedestrian zone, to 5 minutes afoot from the Railway Station and to 3 minutes from the Bus Station, nearby in an ample free parking lot. Casa Carbonara is a historic ladylike villa surrounded by a secular park, from the ample rooms with tall ceilings and floors in wood.

The breakfast was on the table when we came in the kitchen in the morning, there was enough to choose from. Close to the city center and all you need for visiting the city!

I had to email the host 5x until well past 1 am to tell him that I was unable to sleep because of the blaring snd pulsing music in the piazza across the street. The first response was infuriating. ( and I quote) "Come on, what's a little music on a Saturday night?". Totally dismissive after my 3rd email. Because I had a stroke in 2016, it is importsnt for me to rest. I also, asked the host to help me book a taxi, because my cell phone was stolen in Naples, I was confined to only WIFI and unable to book myself, because most taxis only listed numbers in Cividale. The host's response was, it's only 10 minutes to the train station,just walk. With my disability and baggage, quite impossible for me, again the host was dissmissive of my needs. When I pointed this out to him, he suggested I get a taxi from Udine to come out, and take me the 10 minute ride then return to Udine. A RIDICULOUS AND COSTLY SUGGESTION, .This only gets better. I waited, calling out to an emoty house for some one to help me with my bags down some rather steep steps FOR 45 MINUTES.The light kept running out as it was on a timer, so for half of that time I was in the dark. By now I had missed my train to Trieste where friends were waiting. Finally a dear old man who was staying in the room next door took my bag down. His wife indicated he had a bad back, and it was not his job carry my bags down at 9:30 am in the morning. At any rate , Domus lulli has refused to return my money,for a totally miserable night and a ruined day with friends. WHEN I LODGED MY CONCERN WITH BOOKING.COM, THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT THE HOST COULD NOT HELP THE LOUD MUSIC IN THE SQUARE. NO MONEY RETURNED YET. MY POSITION IS THAT IF THE HOST COULD NOT PROVIDE A NIGHT'S REST, HE SOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN MY MONEY. SO DON'T EXPECT ANT HELP FROM BOOKING.COM IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, AS I DID. We liked the place from the first moment on, clean, cozy, everything looked like somebody thought all of it through! And the breakfast was the best! Homemade honey and jam, the best Cappuccino we had on our whole hiking trip, eggs from Elisa's own little farm - just delicious! And to top all of the above, Elisa herself was very welcoming! She gave us a good overview of the city, and we had a very nice chat about all kinds of topics! Come, and see for yourself!

Great B&B with wonderful hosts
Reviewed By Michal MOur family spent at B&B a night on our vacation way already 3 times in a row. First of all the hosts are wonderful people with great approach to guests. Our accommodation was the family room. The room is very spacious, very clean with very new and nice furniture. The bathroom is just spotless. Greatly renovated, spacious dining space and the kitchen with free access in the evening, which makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Spacious parking space in the yard, closed for a night, so your car also feels very safe ;-). This year we even changed our trip schedule by 1 day to make it to B&B Ergira for the stay.

Farbgestaltung unseres Zimmers zwar Geschmackssache aber, sauber, bequem, und vor allem das Bad mit Oberlicht sehr gut. Man sollte sich darauf einstellen, dass hier neben Italienisch nur etwas Englisch gesprochen wird. Frühstücks-Gutschein für bekannten Café San Marco.

Reviewed By roxalePraticamente perfetto. La proprietà gentilissima e il luogo estremamente curato e pulito in ogni dettaglio. Eravamo soli e quindi abbiamo goduti di tutti gli spazi comuni. In pratica è un appartamento grande con salone, zona Tv, cucina suprraccessoriata e 4 camere da letto con 2 bagni esterni. La colazione è preparata la mattina presto e poi puoi servirti in autonomia grazie alla cucina. Si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Cividale, molto grazioso ed immerso nei vigneti. Ideale per famiglie e coppie di amici così da condividere senza problemi gli ambiti. Consigliatissimo.
