Reviewed By spachoriHotel room was good but not at all 3 star they claim to be 3 star. Fan was not working properly. Worst experience was with their restaurant service. Pathetically long waiting time no one to take the order and the food quality was down right atrocious. Won't recommend it for families to stay

Reviewed By Raj4mKolI chose this hotel viewing the pictures of the rooms and settled for a Suite with large room size along with complimentary breakfast. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I had booking for ground floor non-sea view suite and suggested to for a double-bed sea-view room instead. I was sure that there was no option to choose different Suite rooms. I firmly told that there was no such option on the booking website. Then I was told that sea-view Suite on the higher floor was not ready and we need to wait for a while and in the mean time we could check the available sea-view double bed room. We had a visit to the room and immediately rejected the room for small size with small bathroom. We waited for a while instead, had breakfast on the nearby beach and came back to check into the sea-view Suite Room 301 on 2nd floor. The room was big with one adjoining room with dining table and a uncomfortable single bed but no refrigerator. The main room had a double bed, big se-view window and a large balcony. That is all - everything else was very old and un-serviced. The wall hanging AC indoor unit has a separate controller mounted on the wall and you can not change the temperature - it always cools, we needed to switch it off at night before sleep to avoid extreme cold in the night. The wall had damp strains. It was very difficult to find the switch of the tubelight hidden inside the cabinet below the TV. The bathroom of the Suite had a bathtub too, proudly announced by the hotel stuff - I immediately discarded the idea to use it when I saw the bathtub with lots of strains. The door of the bathrrom was damp struck - the handle was broken and kept on the side of the bathtub. The bathroom had inclination problem - I rubbed the floor by feet to remove the water on the floor after bath. The service was very bad. You need to call and follow up several times to get the food delivered at room - they just do not pick up the phone or forget to serve the order. The linens and towels were not cleaned properly and full of strains. The main surprise came on the day we left. While serving the breakfast in our room we were told to pay the bill! I told that we had booking with complimentary breakfast and came to know in reply that the items we ordered were not part of the complimentary package. I argued that we were never told so at the time of checking or during ordering the breakfast and mentioned to settle the matter at the reception desk during checkout. At the reception desk desk we were told that some specific small items could only be taken as part of complimentary breakfast - the items we took had to be paid for. Getting frustrated (as we had to leave our bags before catching the night train), we requested to deduct the amount at the rate of the complimentary items. Finally they opted to deduct Rs. 200 @50/person/day for 2 persons for 2 days! Imagine Rs. 50 for each breakfast for Suite room occupants as part of complimentary breakfast. With these experiences, I would recommend to avoid this hotel if possible. By the way, keep a note that we saw rooms under renovation. After renovation the double-bed rooms may become okay to stay. However I doubt the service and overall quality would improve.

Family visit to pilgrimage
Reviewed By discoveringnaturePerfect location near main temple Easy access to transportation and nearby food joints we visited with my in -laws family in March . hotel staff was good and patient room were nice with good air conditioning my 3 years old daughter loved playing around our adjoining room next to each other. One can walk to temple in morning and upto sudama bridge for nice little morning walk leading towards beach .

Big size rooms, a ok type mirror though out of 3 rooms we took our room's mirror was completely ruined due to low maintenance. ok type toilet.Bed was ok but bed sheets clean. The only problem I found that they don't have proper bright light.Yellowish low power light made the room kind of dark and everything looks bit gloomy.Bus stand is bang opposite and there is one small temple and few tea stalls where we went for morning and evening teas, snacks. So no idea about food quality of the Hotel. Overall it's an average hotel.Don't expect much from it. Staffs are Ok not too friendly not too rude. We enjoyed our stay here for 2 days as mostly we were outside for sights and temple visit. They have lift so any floor is equally good for elderly people.

Resort has scuba diving facilities whose who for marine adventure activities in your trip. Book this resort without any hesitation. Actually we planned Rameswaram for one day. Extended 2 more days because of marine adventure activities

Poor hygine and no quality and cleanliness check
Reviewed By Ankit ATt was not a good experience we had at bansi hotel. Very poor hygiene. I had old aged parents travelling with me. After a long travel of 500 KMs, when we checked-in in the evening we noticed that bathrooms in all 3 rooms were in very bad condition. "commodes were not cleaned and washed and were stinking badly." I requested the reception to clean it he told me they don't even have a full time cleaning staff. They had him in contract who visits the hotel in the morning only. Totally unacceptable. Even the rooms were not cleaned before handing over as we found some old waste like pan masala and biscuit packet wrappers under the bed which were left by previous occupant. They just hand over the rooms from one guest to another without any hygiene check forget about sanitization. TV is there in room without any channel or DTH. Why mention in amenity list if you cant provide. What will guest do with a blank TV? Only thing positive about this hotel is its location which is like really about 100-150 meter from the main temple
