Fantastic family run hotel on the beach
Reviewed By Heather AWhat a find, a great family run hotel, with exceptional service, rooms were funky and very clean, food was amazing and reasonably priced. 100b cocktails were a hit during happy hour from 12pm to 9pm by some of our group. The rooms were cleaned daily and a very nice touch every evening a mosquito coil was placed outside or room to keep the mozzies away. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time in there. the resort had beach access and we spent a lot of time sitting at the tables enjoying the sea breeze, food and drinks. The place was kept spotless with the staff always cleaning. A great hotel to support if you visit Chaweng Beach.

What a wonderful experience
Reviewed By CarlG1145During the Covid crisis we found ourselves on Ko Samui for 5 weeks and booked into PS Thana Resort as we had been there before and knew it was and is a lovely place. Just picking up this again as I left it unfinished. We travelled back to PS in February 21 and still received a fantastic welcome. The owners have kept the place open and carried on employing their staff even through these harsh times. If you get the chance you should go and support them too. It isn't charity, this is the best beach on the Island!

Reviewed By naomikC8111GUWe arrived late after 18 hours of travel. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. The room was massive. The bath was huge! The wifi was great . Its right on the beach. We only stayed one night as it was a stop before we got the ferry. The only slight downside and may have only been our room was that it was on the road so noisy. I use silicone earplugs so blocked it out! Alex the owner is a star also.

Reviewed By bl0ndie72We enjoyed a lovely dining experience at Kirati Beach resort this week. Dinner on the beach & a fire show. There was a musician singing & playing guitar, all the tables were occupied. It was good to see the restaurant so busy. The menu at Kirati is extensive. Pages & pages of dishes! We ordered corn cakes & I had the Tofu Pad Thai & my partner had prawns & asparagus in oyster sauce. The food was delicious, there was so much of it we couldn’t finish all the corn cakes. Service was good - it was a busy Thursday night & we were in no rush. The fire show on the beach was great - having lived on Samui for 6 months, this was the first one I’d seen. Well worth a look. All in all it was a lovely dining experience & it was so reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The only issue we had is we had originally booked the econo room and we wished we had booked the larger rooms. The econo room really is very small with no windows but the other rooms are gorgeous!

Reviewed By Sarahjo78We just returned from 9 nights at Ban kaew. This is my 4th time to Koh Samui and this time as a family with two children. We took a 1 bed Dara villa which had two king beds, en suite, living area and outdoor Sala upstairs plus a huge downstairs living area with kitchen, living room, toilet and dining area. There weren't many reviews on TripAdvisor so we weren't sure, but I was so happy with the choice. Pros: beautiful garden setting, huge villas, has a traditional Thai feel, you get a sense of space, small and boutique like rather than a resort, really beautiful ornate furnishings, absolutely lovely staff, markets across the road, close to the Fishermans village and a massive new Buddhist statue behind, bophut night markets. Cons: the pool is quite small (but still immaculate), the villas are all open plan downstairs ie they have no doors or windows so it's quite hot and mosquitoes are around, however the staff are vigilant at lighting the coils for you so it wasn't a holiday spoiler, it's on the main road so at first walking along the main road with the pram was a bit dodgy, but the Thais give you lots of space. You also don't notice the road once you're in the complex. I can't say enough about the staff there. They were so nice. And one highlight was for my husbands birthday they cooked for us - highly recommend. Some of the best food I've eaten in Thailand and so nice to have it all made for you in your own villa. Thumbs up and thank you Ban Kaew!!!

Reviewed By rebeccatblakeWe absolutely loved our stay at Tembo, everything was very well thought out, attention to detail, clean, modern and all of the Western amenities we have come to miss since travelling Thailand. We felt welcomed and taken care of every step of the way. The staff always had a smile on their face, welcoming us whenever we left and came back each day, they were very attentive and nothing was ever too much of a bother The pool is beautiful and there are plenty of nice spots to catch sunset at the bar, by the pool or at the restaurant. Bonus is they have a cocktail special at sunset too! We ate at the restaurant multiple times too, the food was delicious, great dining experience and fresh ingredients, they even had vegan options for us. I could not recommend this place anymore, if you come to Koh Samui you HAVE to stay at Tembo!

Surrounded by local eateries, massage places, tour desks, and bars, this Mediterranean style hotel is a stand out with friendly staff, who are always on hand to offer advice and answer questions about the local area. The rooms were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. A number of rooms have a sea view. A good breakfast is available at a reasonable price, by prior order. Would return again if I were in the area.

Welcome to our little paradise! Our little paradise is located at a quiet side street in Bangrak, in the northeastern part of Koh Samui, two minutes with the motorbike to Bangrak Beach. The bungalows are in the middle of a tropical garden. When you love a quiet and familiar atmosphere the Bee Nat Garden is the right choice for you. Our resort consists of ten bungalows. The restaurant is directly opposite of the swimmingpool with sun loungers and big umbrellas. Chaweng, wellknown for its nightlife, is only five minutes with the motorbike away. Lamai with its beach can be reached within 20 minutes. The beautiful and quiet beaches of Mae Nam (Wedding-Beach), Choeng Mon and Bangrak are also located in the near neighbourhood. The more popular beaches of Chaweng and Lamai are just five and 13 km away.
Great spot to stay before flying
Reviewed By Kate JLovely warm welcome from Bodo on arrival. Sweet, calm spot with beautiful gardens and a super clean, comfortable bungalow. And 10 mins drive from Samui airport. Simple and no frills but friendly, comfortable and convenient.
