HOME AWAY FROM HOME! Our guest house is a family run; clean, cozy and comfortable bedrooms. We have single, double and triple rooms, as well as a dormitory for budget travelers. There is a common kitchen for guests and we are located near Tergar and the Nyingma Monastery, Bodhgaya. Tara Guest House was built in order to run our non-profit charity, Shanti India School, which welcomes 300 under-privileged children of Bodhgaya. These projects will not only help the less fortunate but also help you as a volunteer to know another culture, may be another language and make new friends for life.

Reviewed By levisenmTara Guest House has a very welcoming and inviting atmosphere. I was only there for two nights but was made at home immediately by everyone in a low key but very helpful way. They served wonderful home cooked meals, helped me with my travel connections and explained much of the significance of Bodh Gaya in a personal and endearing way. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

An excellent place to stay is at the 'Kundan Bazar' Guest House. It is a 'Home Away from Home' and the staff are very friendly - especially Kundan himself. The Guest House offers single and double rooms with attached bathroom or shared bathroom, a comfortable lounge area, a rooftop cafe, free wifi, free use of washing machine, self-serve kitchen use, and clean rooms with modern facilities. I have sent a single lady to the guest house and was very worried about her safety . My one call to Arshad was enough . From check in to her mid night check out ,he was there with a smiling face . He even allowed her to take rest in a room as her bus got delayed . Thank you to everyone for superb service they are providing to their guests.

Reviewed By enigmaiyerWe headed straight to this guesthouse after fab reviews in TripAdvisor. The property is right behind Kalachakra Maidan. Exterior looks unfinished but the rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful and the location is 10 mins walk from the temple. There is a good restaurant Hari Om right next door. We ended up staying for 4 days - room rate can be bargained down.

Reviewed By Writer_GhoshThe hotel is located at the main intersection of the highway with the road leading to Bodh Gaya. The location is superbly advantageous for motorists yet free from congestion. The hotel staff were very polite and courteous. From the moment we stepped out of our car they went all the way to help us check in and settled in our rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and more than adequate. The bathrooms were clean and sanitized. There was hot and cold water available. They provided us with extra towels. Room service was a bit slow but they made up for it by their extremely helpful attitude. Buffet breakfast was well laid and they served us at our table. All throughout the meal they kept inquiring about what else we wanted and about the quality of the cooking. In a nutshell, they made us feel as cherished guests. They have sufficient car parking inside the premises. They arranged for a car wash in the morning at a reasonable charge. This makes all the difference to motorists. A small nursery is also within the premises where you can buy many different varieties of plants and herbs. The check out was smooth and easy. The front office staff was helpful in settling the bills. The hotel was recommended by it'sinAsia. Credits and thanks are due to them for understanding our requirements and recommending this hotel.

Rooftop restaurant in a nearby hotel. Good food. Owner, Dharmendra Singh is attentive and courteous. Recommended. Mahabodhi temple is quite near. Just hop in a rickshaw and you are there in a few minutes.

The room are modern and comfortable. The location is perfect and very nice the front desk staff very-very co-operative. MAHABODHI TEMPLE is just 1.5 Km from hotel, hotel also arranged free pick up & drop to the Temple & Market, all the shopping location also very close to the hotel. Hotel also have event hall, lawn & restaurant.
