Nice Apartments and Views
Reviewed By BradfordgullThe Apartment is situated close to the sea and a couple of restaurants are also nearby for dinner where we had a nice meal. The member of staff who looked after us was very friendly (I assume the owner) and also helped us take our bags to the room. The room was large with a comfortable bed and lovely views from the balcony. I liked looking over to the water and watching the ferries from Italy arrive as well as beautiful sunsets. The internet was also very good here and I would recommend it as a nice and god place to stay.

Reviewed By jarcrokI stayed at this hotel at the end of the May 2022. It was probably one of my best hotels in my whole life. Service is excellent, food is very selected and the atmosphere is like you would be in the times of turkish sultans.

"Pelikan" is a private company that is operating and developing a family business since in 1960. We are situated in a small rustic village on the banks of Lake Scutari. In our business we have developed a tradition from the very beginning for Cruises on Lake Skadar, and today we offer several varieties of cruising the lake , during which you and your clients could rich an impressive flora and fauna, remains of impressed historical and cultural monuments of antiquity. Boat trip services we are providing with our boat for up to 80 people, with a cabin and a toilet. The ship sails with a staff that consists of 4 members of the crew, led by the Captain .For small groups and private cruises we can offer two smaller boats. At the Virpazar, a small town with only 200 residents in the central hotel building with capacity of 17 beds we own restaurant with 50 seats indoor and 50 seats in the restaurant preparing terrace. In the restaurant we are preparing a Montenegrin national cuisine and fish specialties from the area of Skadar Lake. We can extract and some of them, such as Carp in fruit and Eels in rice. We own the annexes house with the accommodation capacity of 29 beds. Our staff speaks several languages we can mention: German, English, Italian, Russian, etc. In the future communications we can continue write each other in English or Italian. Virpazar is very well known in the field of production not only wines and spirits, but it is also known for the production of cheese, so as a part of our service we can also offer to you a visit to the wine cellar where you can see the plantation of grapes, wine production process as well as taste homemade cheeses, prosciutto, olives, ... In addition to these routes of wine and cheese, also, it is possible to organize hiking, and biking trips, fishing, etc. I hope that we have made our presentation attractive to you, and that you will have an interest in coming , we will represent our region to you and contribute to your satisfaction so we hope that the impressions which you will take with you will last.

The friendliest hotel we’ve ever stayed in

There is a VERY steep hill down to the hotel, make sure you drive slowly or you could scrape your car underneath… Once we were at the hotel it is an oasis of calm and beauty. The views are so fabulous and the sea is crystal clear. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and showed us to our 3 bed apartment (number 51) which had great views on a lovely balcony and a sea view from all 3 bedrooms. Breakfast was varied, there were fried and scrambled eggs, cheeses and meats, pastries and breads and fruit and vegetables. We had one (birthday) dinner at the hotel and this was very special for us, the staff were amazing and Vildana is an exceptional cook, we were so grateful for their help to make my daughter’s birthday feel special. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of loungers all dotted in areas that you can easily have your own space. The cleaning was brilliant, the place was spotless and we had fresh towels for the beach and room daily. The sheets were changed twice during our stay, the cleaning was discreet and very very good. The area is not as touristy as further north up the coast but it is therefore much less busy and therefore relaxing. We went to long beach at ulcinj which was about 15 mins drive and was very nice and spacious. We had dinner at kalamper hotel which is walkable, not cheap but lovely. We ate in ulcinj at Manhattan as recommended by Gent the owner and that was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place, the staff make it on brilliant!

Reviewed By Ivan GVery nice hotel staff, we arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. The view from the balcony to the bay is fantastic. The room is small, but cleaned and changed everyday towels. Great bathroom. There was a small safe in the room, comfortable bed. The heat was not felt, slept well, although late at night the youth on the beach was a little alarmed. The furniture in the room is new, practical, on the balcony additional chairs and table. A great advantage of this hotel is its own beach and seawater pool, which was changed each evening. ith loads of beaches in Montenegro, guests of the hotel have always had free chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast at the hotel as a 3 star was a very decent, though monotonous, very pleasant restaurant staff. Often failures with the wifi.

Reviewed By doctorbobsterBooked into the Kula boutique Hotel by the travel company, I cannot recall having stayed anywhere that had so many glaring deficiencies. Read on for details. Located just a few seconds from the old fortress (I must visit) the cooler boutique hotel is nicely located. Beyond that, it is difficult to say anything nice. There was one thing: the half – sized bed was firmly comfortable. After that, things went downhill. The room is small, about 1/3 the size of a college dormitory room. I received the bed without sheets and the sheets provided were too small. The shower door was missing. There was no soap in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken. The cabinet door to the bathroom vanity was ready to fall off. There was no surface counter space in the bathroom. The best place to locate the toilet paper was on the bathroom door handle As the door swung up on your knees, making it convenient. There was no waste pail anywhere in the room, including the bathroom. The television was disconnected. There was a two lightbulb nightlight with a broken housing located above the bathroom door, illuminating the room all night long, without an off switch. In a way, that did not matter because the curtains over the bathroom were insufficient to cover the window making it impossible to darken the room at night. The room did come complete with a cockroach trap though I guess I was fortunate in not seeing the intended target of the trap. There may have been some other deficiencies but they are slipping my mind now. The three times I went to the office desk, it was unmanned and no one answered the bell. I think the property is managed remotely. While Stari Bar is fascinating and I look forward to returning, I can tell you where I will not be staying.

Perfect place to stay in Virpazar

In Vitrpazar everything is close ;) but it was close to everything and very calm place. Next time we are going to stay also in this place.
