Beautiful view, nice rooms and staff with a heart for cats
Reviewed By 662mzWe stayed 3 nights at the end of September and were very satisfied with the hotel. Our room "Aurora" was nice and clean and had a gorgeous sea view, with a small balcony around. If you are not a morning person, the shutters allow to block the sunrise light. The only negative point is the rather busy road below with "crazy" :-) Italian drivers making noise even late at night. The hallways and entry are very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast is served on a terrace with a gorgeous view, offering diverse hot and cold food of rather good quality. What warmed our hearts is the care the hotel staff gave to the several cats living around the hotel, even though cats apparently are not so appreciated by the people there. We hope this will continue in the future! If you like swimming, the Lido degli artisti is just a few steps (+ many vertical steps, as every on the Amalfi coast) away - beautiful water with sunbeds to rent on a secluded beach!

Tremendous boutique hotel for our honeymoon

The rooms are spacious and very chic (with A/C to boot!), and the location is to die for - mere steps away from the heart of the town and beach. A surprising highlight was the breakfast - it was a truly impressive spread with tons of still-hot-from-the-oven pastries, fresh fruits, meats, and cheeses, and made to order coffees (perhaps the best cappuccino in Amalfi!), served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the town. On top of all that, the staff is beyond superb. The same three staff are ever-present, making the place feel like a very intimate family-run business - Lydia welcomed us every morning to breakfast warmly, the two gentlemen somehow figured out it was our honeymoon and left us a surprise bottle of Prosecco, and all were extremely helpful with recommendations. In short, this is a extremely beautiful boutique hotel with a warm family-run atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Amalfi!

What a dissappointment
Reviewed By mustafagokalWhat a disappointment! The room that she gave it to us was not the room that on the pictures of booking. We stayed 2 nights and we had so many problems with room. First of all room was not so clean you can see dusts around window, radiator and the walls. Bed was not so comfortable. Mini refrigerator was not working properly we couldnt make cold our bottle of waters. Then bathtub was really problematic that when were takin shower tube was leaking water to ground of bathroom so whenever we had shower we cleaned bathroom by ourselves and they didnt change wet foot towels in the bathroom. Also everyone says that breakfast good but we didnt had good breakfast. Croissants was supermarket quality, and milk that she gave to us for cereal it was not enough for it. Iam talking about 24 gr little kelloggs package. Also there was a jacuzzi and sunbed in the garden, second day I wanted use just lay down 1 hour on the sunbed but she told me that I have to pay 20 euros. Day after in the breakfast, probably she understood her mistake and told my italian friend that jacuzzi was dirty so she didnt let me to use it but she totaly was lied and I didnt asked her to use jacuzzi. Everyone says in the comments she is nice but in my experience she just put her face fake smiles.

Villa Santa Maria is a special luxury home just a short distance from Amalfi, the heart of the Amalfi Coast. The property was built in a huge garden with a sea view and is accessed along the 130 steps that divide the Villa from the road.Outside you can enjoy the swimming pool Jacuzzi, private beach or sun deck directly on the beach where it is possible to dock small boats, also you can enjoy some relaxing time in the garden.

We had to walk down a lemon grove to get to our completely private bungalow. Every morning they would bring us breakfast fit for a King on our own little terrace. We even joked that if we sold our house, how long could we stay here! Francesca was beyond wonderful and helpful. She gave us great recommendations and booked several trips for us. She did everything she could to make our stay perfect. My husband and I are in our 60s, and we didn’t have any trouble with all of the stairs. There are 160 steps to get down to the hotel.

Amazing location, but better service and management required
Reviewed By Marion MThe location and view are spectacular, high above the sea level. Parking was available, but honestly I am not sure if it is sufficient if all rooms are occupied. The B&B is set within a lemon tree garden and our room was small, but very clean. It is worth to spend the extra money here for rooms with a sea view, ours was a bit dark and towards the mountain side. The place is really lovely, however unfortunately it is not very well managed. Somehow we felt a bit neglected over there and the breakfast was the poorest from the whole trip. No problem that only few items were available, but at least they should be fresh then and well presented, which was not the case here. It´s a shame as the breakfast room would be such a lovely place with views over the Mediterranean sea. I hope they will be able to manage this better in the future. If you like to know more about the place and also what to do in the area you can see on traveltreasuresbymarion - otherwise I have to say that this accommodation mainly earns plus points with the location, but needs improvement in all other aspects.

Even though it was "just" the Standard room, it had a modern bathroom with luxury toiletries, a cozy living room area, and a great bed on the airy mezzanine. There is a place in Amalfi where you can feel at home. Amalfi un po’… is a nice residence housed in ancient 12th centuruy palace located in little square of Doges in the heart of old AmalfiA short walk from central Piazza Duomo,by typical shops, bars,restaurants and only 50 meters from beach.Our sunny and spacious apartments are decorated with hand made tiles and are fully equipped with kitchenette for an independent and thoughtless staying.

Reviewed By Rūta KWe took all four rooms for our wedding guests. It was a good choice as there where only some drawbacks. Everybody was pleased with the stay in this apartment as they could gather in a lovely terrace and spend some time together. Rooms were spacious and pretty convenient. Perfect location. However i do not recommend this apartment to share with other people, it is more suitable for big groups when all four bedrooms are rented as it is more like a big flat with separated rooms. Another big drawback is that one of the owner was overprotective. It was very unpleasant as he entered the apartment in the evening without notice! As soon as we saw him he left without any explanation... That was weird.

The rooms are big and very very clean we had a beautiful terrace with view! there is everything you need! In the morning you can have a simple but good breakfast downstairs in the garden. Jessica is very very kind and you see that she cares for the customers. When I'll go back to Amalfi I'll definitely sleep there again. Ciao Jessica saluti dall'Olanda :)

The most central you can get!
Reviewed By Ioana-Alexandra RExtremely central location, we were literally next door to the cathedral and the main square was right in front of the building. In close proximity to the beach, a pharmacy and many shops. The room was amazing, we loved the furniture and the hand painted tiles on the floor. The shower cabin was a bit tight but we managed. All in all a great, beautiful and clean location.
