Reviewed By GoncaStyleWe received this recommendation from the rental office and where so very much surprised by the beautiful simplicity and clean decor of this place! Everything is kept in a crispy white and grey decor and the bed was very comfortable! The location is just a few steps to town and don’t miss the pizza place at the end of the street! Anna was a lovely host and her home made cake for breakfast was incredible!!! Definitely one of the best places to stay on the island! We got lucky!!!

Reviewed By Cecile CThe room/studio has a correct size but seems unfinished. Some plugs are missing in the room and there is holes instead. (looks still under construction). The size of the "pool" is really small. You cannot swim in it. The quality of the breakfast is poor. Guests smoke in the terrace, and around the pool area where you can have your breakfast and this is very annoying for non smoking guests. towels are not changed every day in the room so you stay with your wet towels for 2 days. We decided to cancel a 2nd reservation we had and didn't get any refund (even partial). Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

Il Giardino delle Aloe - A very nice surprise during Peak Season
Reviewed By Philip_GostelowMy wife and I spent 3 very enjoyable days and nights at Il Giardino delle Aloe. It was late August 2017, peak season for Italians as they leave the north and head south for their summer vacations. We stayed in a regular room with west-facing covered patio and a view toward the hilltop monastery. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed relaxed breakfasts, and after cycling to the island's grottos would inevitably return late afternoon for aperitivo and dinner at Aloe's al fresco restaurant. The wines, salads and tuna steak with pistachio all great. More than the food, it was the atmosphere at night that pulled you in - relaxed and engaging dining. The manageress was always warm and courteous, and the staff particularly warm and friendly. We felt like part of the family. I would have been happy to stay longer had we not pre-booked another more upmarket accommodation (Il Baglio sull'Acqua - ridiculously overpriced, poor and impersonal service from management, and added prices for every little service that should have been free!) on the island. At Aloe it seemed nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help satisfy our needs. For the price and service I would heartily recommend Il Giardino delle Aloe to any traveller - single, couple or family group. Their lush garden a rarity on Favignana. I hope to return soon!

Lovely room with terrace, great breakfast and very warm welcome
Reviewed By Zaza3271We stayed here for two nights and had a lovely suite with a private terrace. Amando was SO helpful and advised us on where to leave our car in Trapani, picked us up from the boat and we rented E-bikes from him. He sat us down with a map and explained where everything was on the island. The location is at the end of a road so very quiet at night. His wife prepares a delicious breakfast with homemade cakes (the ricotta one was especially nice). Would recommend Dave Garden rooms to anyone staying on Favigana.

Amazing location, perfects hosts
Reviewed By paolovbossiThe place is highly recommended. It is just outside the village (2-3 minutes by bike), far enough to be in peace with a great silence in the night. The place it's a perfect combination of rurality and of confort. The apartments have air conditioning, TV and everything needed. The common space is great. Our kids loved the hammocks and there is a space for BBQ. THe hosts are more than great. Always ready to help, to suggest...they are just perfect. I cannot immagine a better place where to stay in Favignana.

Reviewed By yang581If you want to spend time outside from the city, at a few meters from a sand beach (closer is not possible), this place is perfect. People there are very kind, you have the nature... It's very quiet the night, the rooms have a nice outside space, their interior is sober (white) and confortable (nice Italian shower). You have to rent a bike (5euros/day) to go the city of Favignana which is at 5 to 10 minutes by bike from the hotel... After a stay of 4 nights, I don't see anything wrong. My stay there was a very nice parenthesis in the noise and fury of everyday life. I really liked it and would come back without any hesitation. I

Attention to guests is 'exceptional: the attention to detail simple and sophisticated in decor makes each room very cozy and serene; breakfast 'exquisite cakes baked every morning by PIERA with a large research in products such as jams, tea, sugar, etc. Piera, and Daniela are wonderful landlord ready to advise and help you with anything. Sandro, if you have the good fortune to meet him, it will be for you, the key to discover the island and to get invaluable tips We followed to the letter all SANDRO advice. ristoranti..mezzi of trasporto..spiagge etc ... has meant that we have had a wonderful stay, although only three days, but ... unforgettable ,alerted us two places to go to dinner, and good to eat best granita ... excellent !!! and 'a kind gentleman ... really helpful ... it reflects in every way the beauty and care of every detail of this magnificent place ... but something else ... and exceptional' care in preparation and the goodness of breakfast ..... delicate and refined ... a perfect combination of taste and quality '.... excellent croissants cooked from them ... and a mix.of an impeccable service and an exaggerated courtesy ... It was an unforgettable stay and hope to return soon!
