Laborie Beach

Reviewed By timesnatcher

Laborie beach has to be one of the best kept secrets in St. Lucia. This beach is the perfect quiet spot...free from visitor harassments like at so many other St. Lucia beaches. There is a nice little reef area which helps breaks the waves and makes it safe for the children or non swimmer to have fun in the ocean. On the weekends the beach has more people on it but during the week it is hard to find anyone else other than the local fisherman using it. If you have time stay and view the sunset from this beach.....it is perfect!

Cas en Bas

One of the best beaches on the island for intermediate and advanced windsurfers.

Reviewed By KhunSami - Cleveland, United States

My favorite St Lucia beach! It is windy and rough, secluded and feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Reduit. I completely missed the kitesurfers, but I swam for hours. The north side is shallow and has lots of seaweed, the south side is deeper. The beach is sandy and nice, but some casual beachgoers may be thrown off by the seaweed that washes ashore. The surrounding rocks block the rougher off shore waves. Even if you do not kite surf, you would have a lot of fun flying a kite from the beach (and you would not be the first one either). There is a restaurant on the premises, a kite surfing school, and access from the Cotton Bay resort. The entrance to the beach is a rough path on the side of Cotton Bay that is better done by jeep (but Lucian, amazingly, would go there by car).

Vigie Beach

A excellent beach for sunbathing near the Castries airstrip.

Reviewed By 797christas - Calgary, Canada

This is a great beach, you can rent chairs, the water is calm making it great for families. There are a few spots to eat on the beach as well, and an ice cream trolley that comes by often. There are umbrellas for rent or just find a spot under one of the many trees.

Jalousie Beach

This white-sanded beach sits right at the foot of the majestic Pitons.

Reviewed By 664lynnec - Enfield, United Kingdom

Went here as part of a day tour with Spencer Ambrose. It’s our fourth time here and I just love it. The sunbeds in the public area of the beach are free as are the umbrellas. There are very basic public toilets behind the stalls. You can swim or sunbathe on the resort beach as long as you don’t use their sun beds which cost fifty dollars. There is a fruit and coconut juice seller on the public beach, his juicer is quite noisy when busy. Snorkelling is excellent from here with plenty of marine life. You do need to bring water shoes or flippers though as it’s stony to get in that part.
