Maria’s Horse Trekking is in Lysos, within the Paphos District of Cyprus, close to the coastal town of Polis. Our horse treks venture through stunning countryside and pine forests that overlook the sea with breathtaking views. We also ride past old ancient derelict villages in the hills and mountain ranges. PRICES €40 - 1.5 hour trek €65 - 2.5 - 3 hour trek €90 - 8 hour Trek to the Beach, including souvlaki (bbq) and 1 glass of wine/beer. €65 - 3 hour Night Trek, from sunset to 10pm - ONLY during Full Moon. We cater for mixed abilities from intermediate up to competent level. All riders are looked after, instructed and supervised. The trekking groups are small so that riders can be given plenty of equestrian tuition en route while we safely trek across this beautiful landscape. IMPORTANT These horses are not for novice riders. Each person is required to sign a disclaimer that they ride at their own risk. Riders are ALWAYS accompanied by Maria at all times.

A difficult drive over very rough terrain. We did it I a ford focus but it took about 20 mins to cover the 4 or 5 km. Worth the struggle tho as its probably the best beach on the island. If you lucky you'll see turtles laying there eggs or hatching scrambling for the sea. It's a protected area and may be closed during the peak turtle season. Lovely sandy beach with lovely views all around.

Wonderful beach in a protected bay, clear water but not much shade unless you take your own parasol. You will find latchi water spots here too.

We found this beach by accident. But what a great finding! There were 2 tourists on the beach. The quiet and the waves touching the stones is incredible. Very special beach for us. Maybe the fact that it is not so popular makes it so special.

This is where Aphrodite - The Goddess of Love appeared from the sea and it is a picturesque and well visited place with a small store with icecream etc and you actually walk through a tunnel under the road to get there. It is considered very fortune to swim around the rock 3 times so bring your swim wear and camera.

Corallia is next door to the main beach in Coral Bay and consequently, a bit quieter. It has become the place we drive to late afternoon for a swim and snorkel, followed by a sundowner cocktail watching the stunning colours as the sun go down. It’s only a short drive from where we stay in Coral Bay, but others come from further afield by car or by bus. This year the beach was even quieter than usual, due to the Corona virus hitting the Cyprus tourist trade hard. The beach bar, where we watch the sun goes down, closed almost immediately after the sun disappeared due to lack of customers. No matter, we got our swim, our drink and a fantastic view of the sunset.

Set in the harbour area and adjacent to the municipal baths beach this is a really nice place to chill. If you love sunbeds and sun with the sound of the sea crashing into walls then this is the place. Good amenities with toilets near by and a vast array of restaurants for a lazy lunch. You can even get drinks served to your bed. Very comfortable beds with large mattresses priced at 2.50 a bed / parasol A lot better than SODAP Beach
