We stayed in La Tranche Sur Mer for ten days recently It is a really nice town close to beach but what really made our holiday was Matt from Bar Starfish when we told him we were hurling supporters and the semi finals were on the two Sundays we were there. He very kindly showed them on television for us even though it was mostly soccer supporters who were there. He is a proper gentleman and we really enjoyed watching the games there even explaining the rules of the hurling to some of the customers. Thank you Matt great bar great town

This is one of the bars which Le Vendee Chippy uses (on Wednesday evenings). The ambiance is great with a sporting theme, the beer is good, and as ever the fish and chips are superb

Rien comme tout le monde et tout comme personne ! Le plan B c'est un bar à tapas, une épicerie, un lieu de vie, de lecture et de rencontre qui cherche à favoriser les échanges. Ici on vend des tomates et des idées au kilo. On y trouve (presque) tout, surtout quand on en a besoin. Vous pouvez grignoter toute la journée les tapas et tartines préparées avec amour par notre cuistot. Un endroit branché sur courant alternatif qui évolue tous les jours grâce aux initiatives de ses habitués. Le Plan B est une maison de quartier qui cherche à aplanir les frontières entre générations, entre sphère privée et lieu public. Expo, friperie, jeux de société, musique, le plan B ne se met pas de limite, le principal c'est que vous vous sentiez ici comme chez vous. Ouvert toute l’année.
