The 10 Best Bars & Clubs in Fitzrovia, England

March 29, 2022 Marissa Gamble

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

Loving music all my life the chance to see a band I loved as an adolescent at one of the most iconic music venues was too tempting to miss. What a fantastic night we had, loved every minute of it and shook hands the madman himself Den Heggarty. A night I’ll never forget.

London Cocktail Club Goodge Street

A Punk Gin Palace with swallow-themed wallpaper, this basement bar has a kitsch punk vibe. Walking down the stairs the first thing you'll see is a Jack the ripper and his dirty wench, designed by one of London's top graffiti artists and LCC favourite, Aztek. The bar immediately makes an impact. The dim lighting is lifted by the brightly lit back-bar, showing off row upon row of intriguingly dangerous looking spirits.

Fantastic evening, started with a masterclass in cocktail making, learnt a lot and got to try out some new skills made twice as fun with Malyka showing us what to do and being so full of energy and helpful. Stayed on to try some more cocktails. Everyone a Winner.

London Cocktail Club Oxford Circus

A gangsters tequila paradise. It’s the cool younger yet bigger brother of Goodge St. and Shaftesbury Ave….. Enter down a darkened staircase and get hit with a classic LCC vibe, inspired by Mexico’s second home, Down-town LA! Expect references to “ESE’s” and “Bloods & Crips”, a playful twist on gang life, with “gang sign” art work, “pimped out” sexy bandana clad graffiti girls, and even lumberjack shirt furnishings, (no doubt buttoned to the top!). You’ll see graffiti-covered walls depicting gun-toting clown figures and mean cityscapes. The focus of the action remains at the bar where there’s hot contest for a stool seat. Expect to be “sippin” on “Gin and Juice”.

Had an amazing time and highly recommend - we’d been to a few LCC’s as they’re one of our favourite places so we were super happy to finally go out and have a drink after many months! The drinks were fantastic (Pornstar martini’s and a few Crack Baby’s!!) as always but what made it even better was the fantastic service we received from Tom. He made us feel welcome and comfortable, considering these strange times, and his balance of great chat and professionalism was really lovely - Quite the charmer! Thank you to the team but a particularly big thank you to Tom! We’ll certainly be back again soon. ☺️

An innovative hybrid of bar and shop; guests are encouraged to experiment, play and peruse, whether that be enjoying a classic Cha-Chunker, indulging in a Signature Cocktail or bottling up a delicious cocktail for takeaway to enjoy later.

Great spot next to Oxford Street. Professional staff and they really care of the quality of drinks. When the barrel with lager almost finish one of the bartenders gave me a pint of lager. But she knew that the beer last beer from the barrel doesn't taste good so she changed for a new pint. I don't think so that in diferent bar someone would be able to do it. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but she is liitle chubby smiling girl with long dark hair and she is really good what she does. She cares. Well done. Can't wait to have a drinks soon.

Tower Tavern

The Tower Tavern, tucked away in the heart of Fitzrovia, is a real, traditional local pub, located close to the famous BT Tower, from where we get our name. With our distinctive white tiled 60’s front and 30 foot mahogany and teak bar, great selection of beers and ales, and our vegan / vegetarian version of good, home-made comforting pub food, it is really a must visit place if in London. Added to this, we have friendly service, a great vibe, really buzzing Thursday and especially Friday nights. There’s also a great selection of vegan and vegetarian wines, barista coffee, teas, herbal teas, hot chocolate. We look forward to seeing you!
