The Highway Inn Bar & Kitchen

Reviewed By Denboy1

This is probably Lisburn's secret hideaway, you get a wonderful freshly cooked and piping hot breakfast that is good value, prompt and friendly service served each day + choice of popular lunch meals from 10-2pm On a Tuesday (market day) pensioners get a 5 pice cooked breakfast inc. tea or coffee for £3.50 each, now that is a great deal!! This pub & kitchen is run by a charity, Lisburn Community Inns and should be supported Would highly recommend

Scrabo Golf Club

What can I say...the motto “we arrived as visitors and left as friends” couldn’t possibly be any truer!! Within 30 seconds of arriving at the bar after a solo round cut short by the weather during a work trip, I was welcomed by Joe and having been introduced to another half a dozen people was subsequently invited to join them in their social roll up the following day. ☺️ Not bad for a rain drenched Englishman!! Several beers and stories later I felt completely at ease with these guys. Unfortunately I won’t be able to return on this visit, but will most certainly be rejoining Joe, Robert, Frank, Marty and all the others when I return in October. If you want to test your skills on an immaculate, yet tough, course with some of the most breathtaking views in Northern Ireland then this is the place for you. See you soon guys. ????️‍♂️????????

The Rock Bar

Reviewed By michaeloharan - County Dublin, Ireland

We arrived in Belfast on Sunday 16th, did the Black Cab tour and then off to the Rock Bar Sunday evening for the Rebel songs. What a fantastic evening. The people in the bar were out of this world. One lad came up to us and after another lad was chatting to us just wanted to make sure all was ok. Another lad came over and made sure my wife and I had seats. Then the music. So proud to be part of a great evening. For sure we will be back.

We booked a table recently for a Christmas get together. The food was outstanding. For starters, we had prawn cocktail, brie and battered mushrooms. All were amazing. For mains, we had the Christmas Dinner, beef burger and the chicken goujons. Again, the food was outstanding. The staff were an absolute credit to the bar and were so attentive and hardworking. We will definitely be back soon!
