Lahore Guided tours

Reviewed By devmind

Mr. Yousaf is a very pleasant person and very knowledgeable guide. I've learnt a lot of interesting and useful facts about Pakistan history and todays life. I had a tour to Rohtas Fort from Lahore with a transfer to Islamabad afterwards. All went smoothly. Would be great to have a bit more time for the fort, however road took a lot of time, so I cannot complain here. Need to mention Shahid's excellent driving skills, calm and measured, a great contrast comparing to organized chaos on Pakistani roads :) I felt safe and comfortable. Excellent communication before the tour, I got detailed answers to all my questions without any delays. I would definitely recommend the company and its owner for any activities in Punjab and Pakistan.

Tomb of Bibi Jawindi

Reviewed By DiggoryP - London, United Kingdom

The site is where Alexander the Great founded a city, though none of that is visible. There is no public transport and little in the way of tourist facilities but if you can book a tour or find a driver it is stunning. The three tombs are on a platform, despite being ruined by time and flooding, the shells give a sense of peace. The hand painted blue tiles are a joy. The Mosque of Jalaluddin Bukhari is worth visiting. It is being considered for World Heritage status and deservedly so. With better roads, which would benefit the local farmers and some basic facilities more visitors would come.

Imperial Mosque Lahore / Badshahi Masjid Lahore

Maqbool is really a good, knowledgeable guide. His local & national knowledge is an excellent and he knows everyone so managed to get me'behind the scenes' in a couple of places which was wonderful. I wanted to purchase handmade carpets & textiles and he worked that into the itinerary. We also purchased the antique carpets. If you want & like to purchase nice carpets in a reasonable price then you can touch to Mr. Maqbool Ahmed, he is a dead honest person. If you want to do a food tour of Lahore then ask Maqbool as he knows all the great spots and restaurants. Lahore is incredible city to visit but with a good guide like Maqbool. He is a precious asset of Pakistan in tourism. We highly recommend him!!!!!!
