Motoiwa Shimizu Hachimangu Shrine

This shrine is the guardian of the temple “Daianji” . Established in 9C, by “ Gyokyo” the priest came back from Tang Dynasty with the enlightenment. Historically great priests of Japan “Kukai”, “Saicho”, and “Shinran” also made morning worship at this shrine during their visit to “Daianji” temple.
