Reviewed By OfftheirPIt is true that this result could do with some maintenance but these have been exceptional times and it is completely understandable that not everything is tiptop. Having said that, it is one of the most comfortable places we have stayed in a long, long time and offers exceptional value for money. We initially checked in for one night but actually ended up staying a week as we enjoyed our time there so much. The villas are considerately laid out and give you a feeling of real privacy and almost being in your own little home. We spent ages on our terrace in the morning in the evening enjoying the great Wi-Fi and the sounds of wildlife around us. Absolutely everything you need is provided in the Villa and it has the feel of a five star resort as a result of this. The air conditioning was just about the best we had in Thailand and this is really important in these temperatures. The bed was exceptionally comfy, safe provided free of charge along with umbrellas, robes and so on. The bathroom was big and roomy with a huge rain shower which was brilliant. The staff simply cannot do enough for you and were exceptionally helpful. This resort has a family feel to it and you can tell they all want you to have a great stay. The hotel is perfectly located being literally one minute from the beach and a leisurely five minute stroll into the lovely centre of bars and restaurants. They have their own great boss bar as well with an excellent barman if you don’t want to go too far or if it is pouring with rain like one night when we were there! The pool area could do with a bit of attention but often we had it entirely to our self and it was comfortable with both sun and shade freely available. We can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic place with great views
Reviewed By 851shashankbEverything about this place is awesome! It is located in Surin (in the middle of the Amanpuri properties) and very close to the Surin beach. On the other side is the Bang tao beach and in front of it, you have beautiful mountain views. Coming to the condo itself, it is very neatly designed and very comfortable. Loved the service offered by Resava. The entire staff is super helpful and extremely polite.

Reviewed By tudolesWe booked this hotel as it is close to the airport and has a free shuttle service. The rooms were clean, the aircon was cold and the rooftop pool was lovely. The downside to this 5 hour stay was the staff's lack of any knowledge of where we could get any food as their restaurant is closed and this is not stated on their website. It seems there is nothing available in the vicinity. Also, the lack of towels in our rooms. There were no bath towels in our rooms when we checked in and even though we asked reception for some nothing ever arrived. We went and asked again later but apparently housekeeping had gone for the day and there were no towels. They found one pool towel for 6 of us...... We had been happy to pay their full night rate for our short use of the room and facilities but it is a necessity to have a shower before a long flight so the towels were rather important.

Reviewed By jajavalBIt’s very close to the airport , just less than 5 minute walk from the terminal building; however, free shuttle service is offered by the hotel, just inform in advance at time of check-in. The hotel itself is very clean, comforting guest stay . One minus point is just noise from plane landing and taking off but just before 22pm . In room facilities are of standard for what I paid, including flatscreened TV with cable network, refrigerator with 2 free bottles of water, hot drinks, instant coffeemix , hot/cold shower . Staffs are friendly.

Great one night stay
Reviewed By williamcG3842IYIdeal for our stopover after arriving from Manchester on a long flight prior to getting boat to Koh Yao (port really close and she does a free transfer). Gun was a delightful host, genuine smiles and so helpful. In a local area (not full of resorts) so you get to see a how this peaceful Thai Muslim community live (we visited a little fare recommended by Gun). Comfy bed. Nice Aircon. Some roadworks opposite but did not disturb us. Thanks Gun and good luck with your baby!

Perfect place to stay close to the airport
Reviewed By Trixy AThis is a great place to stay if you want somewhere near the Phuket Airport and on the beach, literally, on the beach. We had the front room so we could see the beach, which was nice. The room isn't large but it had everything we needed, was very clean and well equipped. Literally under 10 mins taxi ride from the airport. Prasit was great, very accommodating when our plans kept changing due to Covid-19, cancelled flights etc. He even let us book a half day as we had a late flight. It was great to be able to spend the day swimming and be able to shower and change before heading to our flight. I would suggest you contact them direct by email or messenger to get a good price and let them save some money paid to the big online booking sites. We will definitely stay here again if we're flying out of Phuket.

Reviewed By Bob_DianeWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Paolo and Sirpa are incredible hosts and the staff are lovely, nothing was too much trouble and at times they are mind readers with, for example, cold water being provided pool side just as you think you could do with one! We enjoyed being in a B&B rather than a larger hotel. The pool is glorious and it was fabulous to be able to nip in and out of the water straight from your room. I also enjoyed a couple of excellent massages pool side at a very reasonable price (600bht) arranged through the B&B. We spent a full week at the Villa and once we got used to braving the no pavement streets and the crazy traffic on the main road, there were decent restaurants to walk to. I also enjoyed the nearby Smile yoga studio; classes were tough but very rewarding. The bedroom and bathroom at the Villa were huge and well appointed with a large comfortable bed. We paid a little extra for the larger suite and it was in a great position at one end of the pool. The aircon was effective and quiet, an essential in Thailand! Our favourite restaurant within walking distance was Suay (see separate review). We also had an excellent Italian meal at L’Opera in Boat Avenue (owned by Paolo) and we even got lift back to the Villa. We also really enjoyed the Gallery Cafe (nice meals and lunches) and Neopolian for a great coffee (both walking distance). Our favourite night was a wonderful meal at the Villa, delicious food and great company. We were delighted to be invited and to share a special night with returning guests and Paolo and Sirpa. There was a variety of food at breakfast including a wide choice of quality fruit, bread and pastries served at a chilled poolside setting. We had a car for the week but with hindsight would have preferred to have been picked up at the airport (the Villa was very difficult to find on day one without a sat nav or GPS; very simple to find after that). A hire car for say 3 days would have been ideal. Blue Tree Lagoon was worth a visit for a day and was a very short drive from the Villa. Paolo was so well organised and arranged lifts to a wonderful beach in the day and into Boat Avenue in the evening. We also took the car to the beach intending to leave earlier but ended up there until near 4pm anyway. Sirpa was on a professional cocktail course during our stay and we tried some stunners!

It is convenient for who enchanted in sailing because of only 4 kms. from Ao Po Grand Marina Yacht Port and 4 kms. from Mission Hill Golf club. Drive only 20 mins. to Phuket Old Town where you can find adorable Shino-Portugese buildings. We are also delighted to arrange a trip to tourist attraction such as Yao island, Phang-Nga bay, Phi Phi island and others interested place. Touching peaceful nature with only 4 private rooms, fully facilities, which are close to the attractive scenery and exclusively can see the sunrise in your eyes from the front. Moreover, You can riding a bicycle to sanctuary, Bang-Pae waterfall, and Kao Phra-Thaew national park for who interested in traveling through the forest.

Everythihg was so perfect,I love my bedroom which was so cute, offering all amenities needed and also got a smll fridge and mineral water everyday. The beach is 10 minutes walking and you have plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby too. It is quiet and this is why I love it. There is also a small pool, very nice. I didn't take the breakfast there but I am sure it would have been good. Sophia at the reception has been amazing and very helpful! I highly recommend this hotel!

Short but sweet
Reviewed By John GWe stayed at Akra for one night as we had a wedding at a hotel nearby. We totally enjoyed our experience. The hotel is very new and set in a beautiful location surrounded by trees and nature. The rooms are really cute, split level with great amenities. The private pool is a nice option but we didn’t have time to use it. Overall a nice play to stay if you want to feel a bit secluded and enjoy your own private space.
