There is a health club at London Beach but the gym and fitness area are for members only. The hotel offers affordable luxury. It is situated just two minutes from the historic market town of Tenterden, fifteen minutes from Rye and twenty minutes from Ashford International Station, within easy reach of the M 20 motorway and the channel ports. As Tenterden's premier hotel it offers outstanding facilities including spacious bedrooms with private balconies and free high speed wireless Internet access throughout the hotel and in the bedrooms, plus plenty of free parking. Whether your stay is for business or pleasure our friendly staff will meet your every need. For the perfect Break with your partner or friends. No decisions needed the choice is so wide. Combine a Golf Break with a Spa Break or one of the many options available from horse riding to flying breaks. Please note: Only customers who have booked Spa Breaks have access to the Luxury Spa with its saline hydrotherapy & swimming pools, saunas and steam rooms. As a result of Covid19 we have reduced the number of Spa Breaks available to control numbers in the Spa. There is no separate hotel pool for hotel guests. Spa Facilities are for adults only with a 21+ requirement, children are not allowed in the Spa.

Reviewed By Trip804917Hotel arrival: Lovely greeting on arrival. Room: Large room, but wasn't as clean as I would expect. Spider webs were visible and along the paths walked in the room. Balcony with a view of the golf course. Balcony not cleaned and webs were all over the table and chairs on the balcony. A very large AC unit, which if used was very loud. Bed was very soft. Pillows were even softer, which was a no no for me. The bathroom was OK, the shower was not great as it was not easy as first to get to work. Toiletries were provided for you to use. Again, visible webs in the bathroom, which was disheartening. Another thing, I didn't think that I would have to ask for a room that has had no pets in. If you suffer from pet allergies, DO NOT STAY HERE. I suffered with my allergies overnight and it was not fun nor pleasant. I am not sure if pets were mentioned on the website. Restaurant: We made a reservation for 5, then turned up and no table was set for 5. Food options were slim, but considering they have just restarted the food service at the hotel, it was not a major problem. Portions were very large, I couldn't finish my meal. The taste of my food was bland, but the rest of my party enjoyed their food. Again, service was good. The hotel overall needs updating. It is a great location and could see this being an amazing place, if attention was paid to some areas.

A traditional English hotel built in the Georgian style with an excellent restaurant that serves locally sourced foods. The hotel offers an Oak beam lounge, Oaks restaurant, bar, landscaped gardens and 16 luxury rooms including suites and 4-posters. These rooms have spa baths. A popular wedding venue, that is licensed to hold the marriage ceremony either in the magnificent Kent Hall or garden gazebo on those warm summer days. Kent Hall can accommodate up to 120 guests for the banquet and up to 150 guests for the evening reception. Plenty of parking is available.

Reviewed By 84erintLovely atmosphere and efficient staff, would definitely go again. The breakfast in the morning was a winner too. We went to attend the chapel down wine tasting and ended up venturing into the town afterwards.

Offering 5 star service in the heart of English wine and gardens country. Large car park to the rear of the house, WiFi and breakfast inclusive with locally sourced foods. Katsura Cottage is available for dog owners.
Quirky and delightful
Reviewed By Ros0604This is a charming and quirky place. Rod is the perfect host - very friendly and helpful. I loved the old building and the Japanese furnishings. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the steam train or anything else in Tenterden. We found the car park a little difficult (although others managed it with large vehicles) and the plumbing was a bit slow, but overall it was a joy.

Reviewed By Peter BThe service, the food, the prices were amazing. Couldn’t not fault anything. Very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The roast dinner (roast lamb) was the best I’ve tasted that I can remember. We will definitely be coming back to this place. 5* all round

Reviewed By lobster64Lovely old building with a surprisingly good refurb in the premier room we stayed in . A very comfortable stay for one night whilst enjoying Tenterden. The landlord is a friendly chap who runs a great community pub . Situated at the end of the high street it is close to the KESR station and The Old Dairy.

Angel cottage - perfectly name for a perfect cottage

Angel cottage is a delicious slice of peace and tranquilly which was most welcome. The cottage is beautifully decorated, designed to let the light pour in and has everything you could possibly want or need. Kate and Stephen are an absolute joy, it's clear they love what they do and they just want to share it with you and give you a wonderful experience. Great location, lovely, lovely Hosts, the coast is easily reachable - an utter delight. Do yourself a favour and book a holiday, we are pretty sure you will love it!
