Pension u Hanky was opened in 1990 as the first family-run pension in Slovakia. We serve excellent desserts, vegetables from our own production and tea from herbs collected in the forests and grasslands surrounding Telgárt.
Nice accomodation with animals in the garden
Reviewed By AnaDulciaVery charming hotel with very kind owners. However, I saw recently, they serve only the vaccinated clients, which I consider as a discrimination. Therefore, we will not return there, since we will not risk our health and get an experimental vaccination of Covid.

Reviewed By DMVEALIdeal for cyclists or walkers or skiers in the winter as at bottom of the slopes. Lovely modern apartments with TV and fridges and cooking equipment facilities . Clean and most with a balcony. 1 bedroom that sleeps 4 or studios. Good price and value for money. Slovakia is amazing value. Half a mile from village with a shop and a bar/restaurant and food available at Hanky Pension as well. Near Ice Caves and Ranc for riding or you can use as a base to trace to Bratislava,Vienna,Kraków,Budapest as they are all within 3 hours approx drive away. We went rafting in the mountains and to Kraków and Austwitz, also cycled and ate out each night as so cheap. Great Puzza takeaway from restaurant in village as well.

Reviewed By Boris_PetrasDo penziónu v Telgárte sa vraciame stále ak je to možné. Rok 2020 nebol výnimkou. Pekné čisté apartmány. Veľká kuchyňa s veľkým stolom pre viacerých stravníkov. Pani domáca je milá a ústretová. Vrelo odporúčam.

Reviewed By Matej_BursaCisty a dobre vybaveny apartman (3-spalnovy dom) s jedinou chybickou - priestrannejsia spolocenska miestnost/kuchyna na ukor jednej kupelne by sa hodila, kedze 3 kupelne pre celkovu kapacitu 7 osob je viac ako je potrebne. K dispozicii bowlingova draha, welness, restauracia a velmi prijemni a ochotni domaci.

Hotel, který má svá zlatá léta dávno za sebou, přes to potěšil
Reviewed By Pavel PHotel z dob, kdy byl Telgárt ještě ještě Švermovo, který má svá zlatá léta dávno za sebou. Je to spíš ubytovna, než hotel. Přes to jsme byli rádi, že tu měli pro nás volno a s vděčností se ubytovali. Pokoje jsou omšelé, ale čisté. Červené povlečení s bílými puntíky nás pobavilo. Cena 10 euro za osobu byla víc než fajn. Celkový dojem je pozitivní a můžu doporučit.

Reviewed By SakuragiSugawar... AMegaláztak és nem szolgáltak ki, mert nem jól beszéltem a nyelvet, pedig a barátom fordította amit mondtam. Éjszaka több barátomtól is loptak (telefont, pénzt, jbl-t, cipőt), mert a bejárai ajtó zárja rossz volt, kamerák nem voltak, sem portás. Az ágyneműk foltosak/zsírosak voltak. A padló tiszta kosz volt.

Superb place in the heart of Slovakia
Reviewed By David BOur family had a celebration party at this place..in the restaurant, so I decided to come 1 day earlier with my beautiful wife and kids to be fresh for the party. It is located in a small village in a narrow street, the guiding signs are not very good, so you better check it on GPS. It is new, funded via European funds so the place is a mix of modern and rural.(most important the kitchenware is modern). it also has a small sauna, and as a bonus an outside wooden whirlpool heated by wood : ) The food in the restaurant was good, the best was deer gulash..ask for it. The staff was very nice and helpful. If you ever go to this place of Slovakia, Horehronie..don´t hesitate and rent this place (whole or a room).
