Paradera is a small town near the northeast end of the island of Aruba. The census region Paradera encompasses the town of Paradera as well as nearby settlements and neighborhoods within Paradera. At the time of the 2010 census, Paradera proper had a population of 2,486. The Paradera census region had a population of 12,024.
Savaneta is a village in southeastern Aruba. Home to the oldest surviving home in Aruba, it is the oldest town on the island and its former capital. It was where the Dutch first settled after they recaptured it in 1816. The Dutch marines have barracks stationed in Savaneta.
