Reviewed By R00cattWith the hot climate in Palmas, large enclosed spaces with high ceilings help. This hotel has lots of cool indoor space in the lobby and dining area. The room was small but cool and adequate. Good CNN plus wi-fi. Shower seemed at first to have drainage problems but was easily adjusted. Good breakfast buffet, but kept staff hopping to keep up with demand. Several large groups staying there, using meeting rooms, etc.

LARGE ROOMS, SAFE LOCATION, GOOD BREAKFAST
Reviewed By adelaidesurflifesavrChose this hotel in comparison to the Ibis because the rooms seemed larger in size. The hotel does not seem modern and is overall retro 80's with 60's decor. There are not many things around the hotel in regards to restaurants/ shops etc. Chose this hotel for a stay before and after a Jalapao tour. For nice restaurants you will need to take an Uber or 99 to the lake/river for the sunset. The breakfast has many options. The room is large, unfortunately the Wifi was not working on both occasions when visiting and on the first stay we were sent to a room that had not yet been cleaned and needed to organise a different room, not a good first impression. Overall OK place to stay, next time I visit Jalapao, I may choose the Ibis instead.

Reviewed By Francis MI even got upgraded, when I was not so thrilled about my room. One can also use the accommodations of the bigger sister Hotel Girassol Plaza (the finest in town). Every few years I am visiting my daughter here in Palmas and use the city as a hub for more trips into Brasil. I will certainly come back.

Reviewed By Daniel PUnfriendly staff at the front desk. Small room and bathroom. No cable TV and slow internet wifi connection. Poor location. Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast starts as 06:30. Too late in my point of view.

Fine hotel, boring neighborhood
Reviewed By davidoffskiSimple budget hotel; the room is big enough, clean with comfortable bed, good shower and airco. Breakfast is fine with several kinds of fresh juices and cakes. Boring neighbourhood and there is not much to do in the town itself, except a small beach next to the lake. You need a taxi to get there, or walk aprox. one hour. Close to the airport though and perfect for if you are on your way to another area.
