Needs a quick refurnishing
Reviewed By Aroeira ATo start with, there is a road between the hotel and the lake, typical mistake looking at pictures on internet. Indeed, it was silent in the evening, but annoying in day time. We stayed in a chalet. My low rating is based on the overall conditions of the rooms, furnitures, restaurant. I suppose it was ok 10 years ago, now it needs an immediate refurnishing. I found the rate we paid quite high considering these conditions, even though it was a national holiday. Service was courteous and I managed to anticipate the check out quite easy.

Reviewed By HenaleleJust came back from a wonderful experience at Ecos da Terra. The lodge is just amazing. All very clean and new. The owner, Cosmo is an architect and a great person. Very friendly and willing always to help. For sure I will be back many times. Dog lovers: your pets are welcome!!

Perfect little get away spot
Reviewed By gregandcathWe were looking for somewhere to stay while exploring the area around Monte Verde, we picked this place because its relatively cheap compared to other accommodation in Monte Verde and it turned out great. The chalets are about 2 km from the centre of town, not much of a walk as its all dirt roads, but a quick drive. The rooms are great, clean, tidy and in good repair, a little old fashioned in the decor, but generally good. Our room had a mini bar fridge, TV and a bathroom with a great shower, it also had a lovely balconey and a great open fire with lots of firewood. Breakfast was really good, a big buffet with lots of choices for food. Monte Verde itself is good fun, its a touristy town, but there is lots to do, and the setting is lovely, great bush walks all around the town.

Great for kids
Reviewed By BrazilianCouple1976We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. People are nice and food is great. It's an old hotel, and so are most of the rooms. We chose the most expensive one - minas plus - and it was perfect: large, new, clean, great bath tub, good location. There are only 2 of them and they are very similar.
