I do not like the concept of 'all you can eat' in particular when nobody speaks English to be able to explain, but they also have menu. The sashimi was very good, the steak was quite poor. If you carefully select or you are lucky it could be very good experience.

Tokai

In Brazil, the japanese cooking has been adapted to fit the local taste, giving interesting results. Sugar is used more intensively, giving more saturated tastes. There is an extensive choice of grilled vegetables. A more obvious example are the "sakerinhas", a variant of caipirinha which uses sake instead of cachaça. The Tokai restaurant extends this with some dishes of Chinese origin, giving a very extensive menu. I needed the whole meal to read it, so obviously I started earlier by following the garçon's suggestion: the Tokai degustation, a mix of 20 sashimi and sushi. I completed with grilled brocolis. The marriage of tastes was excellent. I was already fed with this (supposedly a starter), so that I had no occasion to experiment the main dishes nor the desserts.

Soho Restaurante

Local people rate Soho Restaurant as an excellent restaurant, for their lack of a comparison basis. Compared to japanese restaurants in São Paulo (Brazil), Soho wouldn´t last a year. The worst japanese food I have ever eaten. I suggest the sushimen taste their own terrible sushis. A hundred bucks for a nice view is a complete waste of money and time.

A melhor opção de japonês no shopping salvador. Comida deliciosa, sushis sempre frescos e variados.

One of the best churrasqueiras I’ve been to! All of the food was fantastic, especially the meat. Service was excellent. Salad bar was great, though I’ve seen places with more variety there. All that said, this is can expensive place. You get what you pay for, but be prepared - this is not a cheap dinner!
