Taken here by family who reliably informed us this was one of the best restaurants around this part of the world.
This is a huge place split into two restaurants and amazingly popular and seemingly always full of people.
The menu is long and exhaustive which initially caused me some concerns as to how they can have a long fresh menu. However they have a huge kitchen and a lot of staff
As to the quality of the food very good traditional Slovak food . Lots of lovely balanced flavours.

Really high quality in all matters - nice quiet music, quick service, excellent meal (especially garlic soup!), simple elegant design. I will never hesitate to visit this restaurant again!

Well, you would feel here at home - if you from US, that is. They have Americana antiques on the wall! Car tags from all over the US. Food is great, beer as well, staff is friendly, what more you can ask for? Came here many times and will come again.

then stop here! We were truly impressed by the tasty quality of the food at amazing prices. We purposely tried authentic Slovakian dishes and they were great. We stopped on the way the Lubovna Castle and then onto Spis Castle

We stayed in the area for a week, and ate here three times. We are a couple speaking English and French, but struggled a bit with the language, in the end my schoolboy German helped us out.
We were given a tip on our first evening to have the mixed grill which we did. Superb, with the beef in particular being amongst the best I've ever eaten.
The service was excellent all three nights, different staff but the same levels of friendliness and attention.
There are three eateries that we found in the village but this was the best by far in our opinion.

We visited this restaurant on our way from castle to village museum.
The interior of the place is really nice and offers indoor and outdoor Seating. It is a great stop between the castle and museum under.
You can grab a pint of good beer here, have a lunch or early dinner. If you only feel like a coffee and desert, it is worth is too.
We ordered a nice pint of tap beer and had a great Szegedy goulash. Tasty.
As with many places in Slovakia, the service could be a bit faster and more attentive, but definitely place has its charm.
The menu is pretty local and offers some specialties. They have menus in English language as well. Our server didnt speak English, but that was not a problem and overall experience was great. I highly recommend this place.
They are opened seven days a week from 10am to 8pm.

Pri návšteve Ľubovnianskeho hradu Vám určite odporúčam navštíviť túto chalúpku. My sme veľké očakávania nemali, ale veľmi príjemne nás prekvapila kvalita káva a obrovská ochota majiteľa. Dbá na detaily, ako sú dizajnové doplnky a na veľkú čistotu.
