Just opposite the port and the bus terminal, this is the place to wait for departures or arrivals. The coffee is great and the breakfasts delicious. There are also omelettes and other plates to try, all of which look enticing. The traffic is constant when the port is busy as you can see every boat that arrives and leaves. But if you want calm, there is a terrace at the back that is sheltered and more peaceful. The delightful Eleni rules and service is impeccable.

We were in Parikia and wandering the many narrow alleyways around the Old Town. A cold drink was needed just as Secret Cafe Bar came into view. Ideally located with views overlooking the Aegean Sea, but set back from the maindrGe which gave Secret its hideaway and also protected it from those North Winds. Service was good and we had Frappe & Freddo Cappuccino Latte together with complimentary Water - which appears to be unique across the Cyclades - and melt in the mouth Butter Biscuits. All at a very reasonable cost.

The place is great: just in front of the beach! The staff (we were served by Stelios) great and friendly. The food also is clearly above average. The octopus is delicious, the club sandwich with pitta very tasty, the Caesar salad very good and the pastitsio as well. The home white wine is nice although overpriced. And here come the 'buts ': there is a clear effort to overcharge. They ...offer you in the beginning (even if you do not ask for) a dish with dips that are charged in the end for 2,5 euros per person! They also charged 8 euros for the octopus although it is mentioned in the menu for 7,50 euros and in the same pattern they charged 1 euro more than the menu in other dishes as well.It is a pity to behave like that. Personally, I would visit again the next day but I did not for that reason...We are really sorry for the inconvenient but on the top of the menu is wrote clearly "Bread & Dips served on tables 2.5â¬/per person".For the rest I would like to ask if you had a regular receipt .In any case if you got overcharged by mistake and not by an effort you should mentioned this to the waiter at the moment.I would like that since you found our products fresh and tasty to believe us that have been a mistake and we really apologize for this.Hope to see you again.

The view is amazing, the bar is really clean (toilette also), food is hight quality, we just didnât like so much the service, it was extremely slowly , we had to take our menu and we also went to them to take reservation...

I was so excited for breakfast, because the reviews were fantastic. I ordered the Eggs Benedict & the eggs were not cooked at all, not even the whites. Which in turn made the whole dish cold. Totally disappointed. My sisters yogurt was delicious. We really thank you for you comments. It is very important for us, our customers to enjoy all our dishes. We hope to give us one more opportunity as I am sure the result will be different. It is very sad for us to have a bad critic as it is the first time that someone complains for this plate. Of course it is very important the cook of the eggs so it was easy for us to change your plate with another one with no charge

Saw from a distance all lite up like a beacon , we were pleasantly surprised it was a cafe bar , ordered some cocktails and sat watched the sunset so beautiful, It was ideal and the music was soothing to listen too lovely unique experience ....would recommend for a special time

Easy to Access along the port front and when asked about food, owner said food is coming soon. new plans to introduce meals as well as bar and coffee. very nice host.Thanks for the kind words. Usually, beach restaurants offer tasteless, standardized and expensive meals served by bored people. This one is an exception to every item: good and homemade salads and sandwiches, for reasonable prices (8⬠for a club sandwich with chicken!) and the waitress is kind and smiling. Moreover the place is nice with a shaded terrace in front of the beach.Very good pita bread with origan. I definitely recommend.

Four of is dined here. 4 of us loved our meals. If anything the savoury crepes are too big.The menu isn't fancy. But what they offer they do really well and is super fresh. Staff spoke good English and were cheerful as well.

I stopped by Symposium for a snack, late one afternoon. The garden terrace was full and I didn't want to sit inside but luckily, they had a single table at the top of the stairs that was just waiting for me. I ordered a frappé (good) and their version of a club sandwich, which for some reason, I thought was going to be much smaller. Nope, it was a full-on, proper club sandwich complete with a mountain of chips. I was able to eat half but the kindly waitress happily gave me a bag so that I could pack the rest to go. The club was great and very filling. I really enjoyed this little café and could see myself enjoying daily morning coffees there, if I lived in Parikia!
