Relaxing stay
Reviewed By debbiesI8261JTWe spent a fabulous 2 nights at Croydon Hall. We stayed in the Moonstone apartment. It was on the top floor, it was large and clean and had a beautiful view and a fully equipped kitchen. The Manager Mark and all the staff there, were so friendly and made us feel very welcome the whole of our stay. The Hotel is set in the most beautiful well kept grounds. They have a great facilities, a lovely spa and outside heated pool. The food was excellent too. We would highly recommend this wonderful Hotel, and we hope to go back soon.

Great Pubs still exist!
Reviewed By pintd2022The Carlsberg tastes exactly like it should, best tasting pint I can find. I'm told by my family / friends all the other beer tastes fantastic too. I haven't got past the Carlsberg yet. I went for the mixed grill from the specials' board, it was fantastic. I am still thinking about this mixed grill 1 week later, hence the review. I'm also going back for another one this afternoon ;) I am looking forward to one day trying other items in this pub.......once I have had my fill of mixed grills and Carlsberg, this could take some time though :D Staff are friendly and cheerful. 10/10 love this pub.

One night travelling home
Reviewed By 236DavidCThe bedroom was very nice, comfortable beds, clean and bright with lovely views across Bath. Sadly it was up three flights of steep narrow stairs. The bathroom, very clean and well appointed was on the same floor but shared with one other room. Breakfast was offered at 9am on the Sunday. Poached egg on toast the only main course. We refused because we wanted to leave earlier. There was parking, outside the front door. It is restricted but the host ensured that we were paid up to the time it became free.

Reviewed By elmertheelephant_10Centrally located so very convenient. Couple great pubs, the Golden ball and the Duke in walking distance. Great cafe, The BOS for breakfast next door. As hotel doesn't offer any food. Reception staff very friendly, not the greatest English speaker but very welcomeing. Room was very small but well equipped, hairdryer, tea making facilities, heated mirror in bathroom, full length mirror. Mattress too soft for our liking, only 2 towels and 2 pillows for 2 people not the usual 4. But at £45 night was great value. We were not bothered by any road/people noise. But bear in mind it is on the high street. No parking other than roadside or shopping centre car park.

Family short break
Reviewed By vonnie57After reading other reviews about this place we were very doubtful about coming but we did as we were bringing our 3yr old Grandson with us and didn't want to upset him and tell him we weren't going seaside, as we had upgraded we could check in at 2pm very quickly done, the apartment as pontins like to call it was very tiny there is no way its fit for 6 people it was only just ok for us, we basically were only really in the apt to sleep, thanks to the decent weather we had we were out and about all day, it was though resonably clean not as bad as some reviews had stated, the site itself is very outdated it needs a complete overhaul. The staff were pleasant enough and as other people had stated the entertainment was good my Grandson at least enjoyed himself, prices in the clubhouse were quite reasonable too. Do i think it was worth paying the money we did for the upgrade absolutely not! Would we come here again that would be a definite NO!
