I am big big fan of lovely Greek cuisine, sea food in particular. I have been to many Greek Islands that have incredible fresh fish and mezes. Unfortunately Thassos is somewhat out of this league. Piatsa Michalis is no exception. Serving is fast, but the food is literally tasteless. All frozen then griIled very dry. I do not want to blame them for any reason, may be Greeks can enlighten us about this untraditional low quality cuisine in Thassos comparing to other Greek Islands.

The staff were a little disorganised when we arrived but things soon settled down.
We were here for the fish as we'd read so much on it.
Whilst I can't say we were blown away, we were very happy customers.
For the price paid we have zero complaints

We had dinner in the sunset light and it was a perfect timing. People are very accommodating and nice (which I believe to be one of the strong suits of Greeks in general), and the food is gorgeous and tasty. We had dorada and grilled octopus and we were both so satisfied with our choice! Also, I recommend you try a kantafi for desert, to end an awesome supper!

We spent 10 days in Skala Marion and ate 3 times at the Crazy Shrimp. The owner, Yurgos is very friendly and speaks French fluently. His staff is very nice too. In addition, the food is excellent. We had the Octopus the three times we went there and they were delicious (very tender with a very good sauce and capers). We also had the calamaris and fish which was very fresh, grilled to the perfection! Would definitely go back there...

The food was awesome, we ate there 3 times, each time ordered different dishes and all were great.
The service was also excellent, everyone was really nice and professional.
The view is great at sunset, the place is right next to the beach.
Also, the free Deserts at the end of the meal are awesome.

Really enjoyed the dishes of the day... baked aubergine with chick peas and chicken with lemon served with stuffed mushrooms. Prices very reasonable, those dishes were 7-8 euros. Staff very attentive and friendly, even in 35 degrees of August heat. Seemed to be a place for the locals too, so good sign.
All seats have interesting vistas of either the sea, the Promenade or the narrow streets so great for people watching too.
We enjoyed the local products shop too across the street.

Stopped off in this lovely village quite by accident and decided to have lunch in Alfas Restaurant. The setting is wonderful with views of the bay. Menu was extensive and reasonably priced with the food of great quality and quantity. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend eating here and soak up the lovely atmosphere.

The prices for the whole package...
Everything just as it should be.
Delicious and fresh, friendly, by the sea, clean and comfortable and all the above would cost you nothing more than they offer.
Tried it last year, visited once again this one and will definitely visit it on our next time in the island.

Man this is one of the best places we found on the island.
Friendly and professional staff , tasty food ( especially the breakfasts ) and quite good prices.
For some reason this place just gave me a good vibe and i enjoyed both visits. Good coffee and nice cool people!
You get a free sunbed if you eat / drink here so thats a plus. Also you get a nice little bowl of nuts when getting drinks on the beach.
Only positive aspects!

The beach is clean and not overcrowded (June). The sea bottom is with pebbles and I recommend shoes for swimming. Тhe perfect place for watching the sunsets on Thassos.
