A trip to the Juice Bar is worth it just for the amazing aroma of the waffle cones. They must pump the odor onto the street to lure you in. Fortunately, the aroma was not false advertising, the cone and the ice cream were both fabulous. There was a line, even in mid-September, but it moved quickly and was worth it.

Classic 70's fine dining.
Dining rooms are comfortable with tables far apart. Waiters are very helpful with the menu.

Petticoat is pretty to look at. The brick sidewalk, gray clapboards and yellow accents make this a charming shop from the outside. The interior feels like a tea room with light pink walls and white accents. The white and gray woven chairs, bamboo stools, glass bistro tops, and floral chair covers are dainty and elegant.
Once you get past the beautiful look of the place, the experience falls apart. The employees are not helpful. They were difficult to hear when answering our questions. They were not forthcoming on their recommendations or best sellers.
We landed on three types of pastries and found all of them to be just okay. The cookies were very dry and lacked flavor. The peanut butter cupcake had too much cream stacked on top. There was more cream than cupcake. It's very similar to Gigi Cupcakes. The raspberry bar was dry and low on flavors.
I would not come back. The service and dry pastries are too much to overcome.

We came here with 10 family and 2 friends and we're seated at the Chef's table. Usually a table for 12 at a small restaurant is uncomfortable and lacks intimacy, however, the servers did an outstanding job. The conversation was lively around many servings from the tapas menu followed by 2 orders of the Peking Duck. Every this was delicious, stands outs; the oyster tacos, the mushrooms, and the tuna poke.

This place has amazing sandwiches. Sometimes, you've run out of money because Nantucket is a tad expensive and you just need a simple meal to take with you to a beach. Something Natural has delicious food and very reasonable prices.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting the Sconset area. Sandwiches were outstanding! Husband and I shared one sandwich - which was plenty for us. Sandwiches are generous in size. We had the ham and cheese. Really enjoyed this spot. Have an outdoor seating area. No indoor seating

In the heart of the small town on Nantucket Island, called Siasconset, is a little jewel of a restaurant where you bring your own wine. Buy the wine at the Book Store next door to avoid a surcharge, and bring a check or cash. No cc's. Simple menu prepared in the back of the room, using local greens, and local fish and meat. Be sure to make a reservation ahead, and walk around the village while you wait smelling the sea air.

Discovered while walking the area during a day trip and the posted menu out front looked interesting. A tiny room sized establishment tucked in the back of a small collection of shops just off Centre Street between India and Chestnut Streets with lots of quaint charm.
We had a BLT and a Crispy Chicken wrap which were both served with very small sides of fresh field greens and a potato pancake. Enjoyable and satisfying if not particularly memorable. We were pleasantly amused to discover that it's BYOB, so we ordered a couple glasses of tart cranberry.
The sole server who also served as host, cashier, and bused the tables was friendly, informative, and efficient. The prices were very moderate by Nantucket standards. Suggestion: If you plan to eat here I'd check their website or call to be sure they are open.

Last night I went to the Summer House for dinner with 5 friends. We were eating outside on the deck during a gale.
Since I always scrutinize eating establishments for cleanliness, I was disappointed with the tableware presentation and the décor of the outside patio. Hardly any upkeep can be easily displayed. The paint face of the building was dirty, The lighting was dim and the outside has very tiny space heater when turned on dimmed the lights further.
The table cloth and napkins were clean but well traveled.
Enough with the décor and table presentation. Lets talk food.
I ordered the Tuna Tartare with fried shrimp for my appetizer and it was very good. Tuna fresh and the shrimp were cooked well and the sauce was very good. However the presentation was mediocre.
My main course was Pasta Bolognaise which was very good. Served just right and the beef and veal sauce was excellent.
Both courses had ample servings.
The wine list was not overwhelming, however the pricing was reasonable. No sommelier approached our table. The Cote du Rhone was very good and priced well for Sconset. We also tried a Sinsky Napa Pinot Noir which as always was a good choice . At the higher end was a Chateauneuf-du-pape priced well (maybe next time) since at this point we were wined out.
I am not sure what the situation with the ownership and management of this restaurant is, however I feel they are serving a good product in an increasingly dingy setting and since there are few choices in Sconset I feel they don't care. Not sure of the interior or the restaurant is like this year but I feel it might be the same
Pricewise they are as expensive as the Galley or Pearl and if you have time to make a reservation and have transportation to town, you will have a much better experience.
Old Sconset's Summer House is fine but it's time to get hip and not rely on the past hype
