Fresh operated just 3 months and the authentic UK Derby style garner my attention. I chose rump as it's a rare selection. The result came out good in medium doneness and kinda big portion. Just slightly unhappy with the greenbean side, the rest is decent especially fries and onion rings. Overall is spendid and mouth-watering 4-meal course, with such attentive services and cozy decor. Gonna wait for my second round!!Dear TmarcusT,Thank you for visiting us and thank you for taking your time out to write this review. We are so glad that you have enjoyed the food and service. On my final night in Kuala Lumpur recently, I decided to say goodbye to the city with a self-indulgent meal at what's been described as its best steak restaurant. I'm no steak connoisseur but after this recent meal, I've no doubt it probably is. Dinner started with a glass of 2017 Col di Sasso cabernet sauvignon which went down very easily. The appetiser was a loaf of of freshly-baked bread (all for me?) with three different butters (plain, seaweed, and sriracha...I think). I would have been happy at the point but eating solo, I decided that I would go with a manageable Japanese wagyu cut. The steak, cooked medium-rare, was a delight and very tasty. Diners get a choice of three sauces to accompany the steak, and I chose Béarnaise, mushroom, and chimichurri. I initially found the chimichuuri sauce a little salty but grew to like it. But nothing beat the Bernaise sauce for me - I guess there's nothing wrong about being a bit of a traditionalist. I also had creamed spinach as a side dish (what do you know, another traditional accompaniment). A shout out to the waiting staff on duty that night who were friendly, knowledgeable, and very engaging. After dinner, I had a wonderful conversation with the assistant manager, Alex (I hope I got that name right) about the restaurant, it's various cuts of dry-aged beef (look for the refrigerator near the entrance), the actual process of dry-ageing, and customers' preferences for beef in general. A very satisfying evening!Dear ianwyj, Warmest greetings and thank you for dining at PRIME, during your recent trip to Kuala Lumpur. It has been such a pleasure to have you here, and we are glad that you tried the steaks grilled to perfection, along with its' sauces. The experience which you have shared on Trip Advisor is sincerely appreciated and we hope you will drop by again during your next trip here!Have a pleasant day and we look forward to see you again soon. This place does exactly what it says on the tin! The steaks we had were fantastic and well presented, the lobster in the surf n' turf was tender albeit small in quantity. The dish (shown in the photo) didn't look very large, but upon consuming was exactly the right portion. The overall quality and service was very high. Recommended if you like your meat.Hi digitalspirit, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a nice review. It's a small street level restaurant, very noisy also because some tables are on the street and basically the door is constantly open, so good bye air con. The menu has a nice range of dry age cuts. If you arrive late, many cuts will be sold out. we waited almost an hour for the first dish, but then it was paradise. For true carnivores
