Ahlbeck is a district of the Heringsdorf municipality on the island of Usedom on the Baltic coast. It is the easternmost of the so-called Kaiserbäder ("Imperial Spas") seaside resorts on the German part of the island, situated right next to the border with Poland and the town of Świnoujście (Swinemünde). Both communities are freely connected by the longest beach promenade in Europe spanning more than 12 km (7 mi) from Bansin to Świnoujście.

Thank the tripadvisor site we have tried and Fisher Fritz cuisine. And we discovered new taste of fish. We had a four different types of fishes: and cod, and halibut, and perch and a catfish. The meal was realy huge and very tasty. Service was really nice and helpful. I would recommend to anyone

we had three course menu of the day. The first course was a spinach soup - creamy and tasty. Waiter explained what kind of fish we're getting for the main course. The food was very well composed on the plate, and not the 'standard hotel food' you often get. Asked for a an Irish single malt after dinner, he recommended Tullamore Dew. Good choice.

Though the suroundings were somewhat stuffy,the skylight that covered the whole interior of the place balanced the general apearance.Had their sliced duck..wow!!

The place is impressive. We had the feeling to be back in the 19 th century. We had an amazing three course dinner which was outstanding. The first course was a delicious carpaccio of monkfish. The second course which was called 'Heaven and Earth' was a fois grase with apples slices and mash potatoes and tasted just terrific with the Pauillac Grand Cru Classé. As dessert we have chosen the creme brûlée and the tris of plums.
The service was very friendly and attentive. We can absolutely recommend this place.

cosy,clean,very good service,excellent fresh food,big choice of fresh fish,tasty meals,good meat,it is pity for wine (not enough of choice of good red French wines),prices are reasonable,we were satisfied and appreciated calm athmosphère and enough of light to see what you eat nice tablecloth, cutlery and glasses.Worth 5 stars hotel.Nothing to add,congratulations.

Great restaurant: best italian food cooked with high quality products. Pasta is the specialty of this small restaurant. We shrared first a cheese and har with rucula and pinenuts plate, then had ricotta ravioli and black pasta with shrimps and shared a creme brule with banana icecream and an espresso; we only drank mineral water. Everything was very delicious and we spent 60 € for 2 persons. Service is very good too. You need to make a reservation at least 2 days before during summer, because theu only have 14 places inside and maximum 8 outside. Not to be missed!

Best food we had in Ahlbeck, fresh cod with parmiggiano crust and pesto was outstanding, and so was the fried eel with salt potatoes, reasonably priced. not to forget the service which was extremaly friendly and helpful. Location not easy to find, but definitely worth seeking...

Its fish and the Zander was excellent. Fresh. And Uwe's kitchen does know the preparation. Great skin.
Everything else is deco, the beer, the potatoes, the sauces (be warned of Pommersche Sauce). Not important, as you want fish, come for fish, eat fish and remember it for fish.
So go. Truely traditional fish place.
