Despire the high ranking of this restaurant on Trip Advisor, iur opinion is pretty different.We went there for a easy lunch, food was good and the overall experience was pleasant.However the portions are very very small, it is hard to accept such portions when you are paying more than 20 Euros for a main course.To make it short, 2 simple mains + 1 kids menu and a bottle of still water costed arount 70 euros.Definitely overpriced.

We ate at the Playa on our last night at the Tamassa and it was the most beautiful meal cooked to perfection and served in style. The guinea foul was so tender it melted in my mouth. Service as with the whole resort was excellent. You must book in advance as the Playa is always full so don't wait till the last minute. The speciality is the lobster and everyone who likes shellfish highly praised it.

We took a chance on this local restaurant which we were passing daily. Short story - we loved it, it sells lunch time baguettes, delicious, evening meals were equally great. We particularly loved the squid to start with, followed by noodles with anything you like, we had the sizzling lamb, prawns, squid at different times, we all loved it. Make sure you stop by, the food is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My family had the most meals here when we were staying in the hotel. The lunches were totally perfect as the setting was picture perfect right by the beach with swaying palm trees and shady pergolas to keep us cool and the menu had nice salads, sandwiches and other light things that all 5 of us wanted. As well as some delicious cold rose wine and beers! We had dinner here twice too and it had a different menu. Slightly less appealing choices and the same local fish every time but perfectly adequate.

our expectations. Lovely accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, tasty food. Loved the free island get away, bustrip to Flax... and and ... just about everything. My third time to Mauritius but this hotel definitely value for money and to be recommended. Thanks Tropical Attitude staff for making this holiday one to remember

This restaurant is a real experience. Large selection of dishes, meat, fish, seafood and hamburger or pizza. Great meals can be enjoyed on the beach. Once a week, lobster evening is a must-see. You can also expect a great selection of excellent wines. Finally, don't forget to taste the dessert - rhum ba-ba.

The food in this restaurant is the best I have eaten for an Asian hotel restaurant anywhere in the world, and I'm up to 35 countries so feel qualified to say that! When you ask for a platter because you can't decide what you want then you will be blown away!
