I was reminded visiting Flamboyant restaurant this morning of popping into the Tipsy Teapot in Selsey West Sussex some years back. My most memorable image are of pots, cup, bowls glasses at strange angles. Hidden behind this imagery were the hosts with such charm and charisma. Today in this five star restaurant I was peering at my breakfast tea cup with a crooked handle. Like in Selsey the waiters make this such a memorable experience with their care, courtesy, humour, and ever lasting professionalism to make you feel that extra SO special and SO embracing. Every morning we are greeted by Chef Poonam and Chef Aalyha in their typical Mauritian radiant welcoming style. Out come their Happy Eggs smiling as they cook ones breakfast. Behind that handle in the kitchen and waiters does lie that So Magical Surprise to savour and greet you into another sun kissed day on this delightful Island of Mauritius.

Breakfast here was amazing, such a varied choice of both foods and juice. 2 egg chefs serving your eggs exactly as you would like them. Crispy bacon and 2 types of sausages. 1 person dedicated to chopping and serving fruit. Pancakes and lightest of waffles. Wide range of continental style foods. What more can I say!
The service was excellent and nothing too much trouble. My one downside is I preferred the coffee in the bar to the breakfast coffee, but I do believe there was a cappuccino machine available although I did not use it.

Me and my boyfriend were made to feel very welcome here. As all soon as we arrived we was given a table over looking the sea with some candles which couldn't be more perfect. Very good and efficient service! And very friendly staff. The food was beautiful, perfect amount and tasty! Half the time I didn't no what I was choosing but I tried It all anyway... And on glad I did! I have never tasted sea food like it!.. I will definitely be going back.

The restaurant for a special occasion. Very elegant tables, silveries, good service. The food is very good, but not outstanding.
The lobster cappucino was great, but sea bass bit overdried. Going there in a bigger group, be prepared for spending more time, than usually.
The prices, like for such unusuall place, acceptable.

this resto offered a buffet dinner for the resort, but the variety was limited and not offering options to kids. the service is quite poor (maybe for local residents...) and we ordered some nuggets/chips for the little one which we never got, with some weird explanations!

Happy hour was a good deal, I lt of local beer for 207 rupees only between 4 and 7. All other drinks during this time was a buy one get one free. Lovely view , good service.

Excellent variety at breakfast ranging from continental, english , asian and american. I couple of differentiators for me over other breakfast venues being freshly made smoothies to order and honey dripping straight from the honeycombs to go with your pancakes or waffles. Make sure you try the freshly made american waffles with honey absolutely delicious!

We ate here several times and although short staffed on a couple of occasions they were good experiences. The beach setting was very romantic and the food was first class. Just remember to choose the right footwear since the floor is sand.
