Reviewed By I288FYpetermFrom the (for us unexpected) pickup from the bus station to the lovely yard with small seating areas and the personal conversations with the staff: it's obvious that the people who own and run hotel Tree Tops have fully put their hearts into it. A wonderfully simple place at a great location, where one sincerely feels cared about. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Adventure05093993045Greatest location in Chitwan national park and the price is excellent! It is located just opposite to the national park 50 meters. I could see the animals walking in front of the hotel especially in the morning from my balcony such as Rhinoceros. The name of the hotel is indeed rightfully named. The owner is very pleasant and knowledgeable man who always gives the best advice. I stayed for 2 nights and felt at home away from home but with higher class. The room was very clean with superb direct view of the national park. I did not stay long enough to use other facilities but strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again should I visit Chitwan again.

Amazing jungle excursions with naturalist Naval

Except for one day where there was a local marriage with a lot of music in the village nearby (we were simply unlucky, no responsibility from the hotel) the hotel was really calm and nice. The garden was beautiful and the rooms quite big. The restaurant was also good and the personnel cheerful and really welcoming. Particular highlight of the stay were the excursions. The hotel offer a very big variety of excursions, all very well done (we tried all except elephant riding safari). Our guide Naval was nothing short than exceptional, really nice and knowledgeble. Wifi connection was exceptionally good (it is quite important thing because mobile connection in the area is actually really poor). Jungle Jeep Safari is much better in Community Forest than in Chitwan Park. When you go to community forest you are taken by a hotel and there will be your guide, you will see more animals and you will have more attention. If you go to Chitwan you will see more grass lands, less animals and will go with another guide, qulity is less. Bird watching was amazing. Jungle walk was real fantastic. Tharu Culture Dance was really good. Canoying with crocodile watching was super. If you are sensible to light while sleeping take a mask. Ask the hotel if there is no local wedding is planned as they celebrate more than 24 hours with a loud music non-stop, can hear inside your room like a disco.

Namaste & Welcome all you globetrotters to Nature's big screen of Happy Lemontree Lodge. Where there is no need for a remote controller, no subscription fees and no cable provider. Being on the bank of the Rapti river all your stress will slowly fade away. We, Dharmik and Juliette, a social, nature-loving and undertaking Dutch-Nepali couple are running a cozy, well vibing bamboo paradise. Our place is directly sited at the riverside and covered with shade, banana trees, and soon to be lemon trees ( they grow very shanti shanti). So you can enjoy the view from your balcony without burning away. We have a plan to expand our to a breakfast point, where we would serve a little extra than the standard ''western''breakfasts in Nepal. Occasionally you can also see a rhino going for his daily walk or spot a crocodile chilling in the sun. You come by and we will serve you an ice-cold lemon drink. See you soon!:)
Horrible experience
Reviewed By 893tamarabLet’s talk about the lodge where I had a really bad experience. I had a pick up at 6:30 am for my safari so I requested my breakfast at 06:15 am the night before. They confirmed me the time of breakfast. My breakfast wasn’t ready the next morning. So I went to the owner. He asked me how I have slept. Not really good actually because something or someone turned on my light at night. And now my breakfast isn’t ready. He told me you requested it for 6:30 am no I did not because I have a pick up. It went on and on in a fight and he accused me of lying. I was so shocked how the owner behaved. I was also crazy and imagined that the light turned on. Because he had such a good night. I was so mad and walked away, because I had a pick up. While I was walking away he shouted get your things and go away. Like omg what is happening. I was really upset. Lukily my two friends of the safari really took care of me and reassume that we could always go to the police. It really effected my day. When I came back the door of my room was open with all my things inside. I left! The most horrible experience I have ever had in a hotel. Also the hygiene of the toilet and showers were really bad
