The rooms are new, furnished with style, they are designed to be comfortable and functional in order to make your holiday fantastic.

Reviewed By Passport48497042978Family owned and so personable. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, clean and very comfortable. Exquisite. We stayed in May 2022 when the town is a little sleepy but we liked it that way. Parking is very accessible for this location. The breakfast was yummy and hosts even sent a care package of pistachio cake with us as we continued on our travels. This property had a pretty big outdoor area with resident ducks. If you’re passing by the area this is a must for comfort and love from the hosts.

Lovely Place
Reviewed By roamer35We visited this lovely bed and breakfast for just one night on our way driving down the southern coast. It's a very nicely and tastefully furnished house. The aesthetics are very beachy and traditional yet modern and stylish. The whole place has this bright beach house feel. The rooms are spacious and there are huge windows in all the rooms and the common area. If you sit in bed and look out it feels like you are sitting in the middle of the sea! The bathrooms are nice and clean but not as stylish as the rooms. We had taken two rooms on the first floor and they had this lovely common area in between with a kitchenette. That was really nice. Just a note though that one of the rooms the really nice one with the library of books does not have the bathroom inside it it is across from the common area (private for the room just not in there) It's ok if you are a family sharing the space however if you are sharing with strangers it could be an inconvenience. The location of this place is amazing. Literally across the street from the sea and a walking promenade. There is parking along the street but you have to make sure you pay at the meter. Booking was very smooth and the person in charge was quick and efficient. One thing about this place that I didn't really like was the breakfast. It was packaged stale food that we actually skipped as it didn't look appetising at all. Another thing is that there was nobody really there to welcome us in and answer any questions. One person just opened the door for us have us the keys and took payment and we barely saw her again. Over all the design and location and aesthetics are just gorgeous in this place. However the lack of a proper breakfast and friendly staff will make me give it a 4 instead of 5.

Wonderful hosts
Reviewed By Linda RWe were in Castellabate for wedding and stayed in a wonderful large room at Bed and Charme Isca della Chitarra. The people owning the property were wonderful host and we enjoyed our stay. The airconditioning worked brilliantly and probably saved my husband who do not take well to the heat, and it get's very hot in the end of July. Great location as well, a bit of a walk to the beach but that was no problem.

Just opened, it has retained the characteristics and colors of Cilentani. The rooms for rent are all on the ground floor, fresh and ventilated, with private bathroom, TV and Wi-Fi. Parking space and breakfast included served outside under a lovely pergola. It is far enough from the sea, we wasted 30 minutes on foot every morning and every evening, my wife cannot drive a bicycle and we hate to use the car to go to the sea.

The accommodation of these two rooms is organized in B&B conditions, and the distance to the pedestrian area and the sea is only 50m. The rooms are offering all sort of comfort like Air Conditioning, Television and Internet connection WiFi. The private bath rooms are representing in its style and colors the equivalent rooms. On demand it is possible to put an additional bed or cot in each room. The balconies are offering a nice view into the park of Villa Matarazzo. According to the climate conditions breakfast can be taken either inside or in the private garden.

Reviewed By Jodie MBooked the B&B La Lampara for a week whilst attending a wedding in this region. The accommodation is in an excellent location – a two-minute walk to beach in one direction and two-minute walk to main strip (shops/restaurants) in the other direction. It is set on a cobbled downhill slope so high heels may prove difficult (although not impossible as it's only a short walk and then you're on more even surfaces). The rooms are clean and comfortable and have been thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in the 'Terra' room which was fine although lacked a little shelf space in the bathroom and no full-length mirror (which was not good when getting ready for the wedding). We did take a look at the other rooms and I think my favourite would have been the 'Sole' room due to the warm colours, larger size and better shelf space in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a balcony big enough to sit out on in the afternoons/evening but none of the rooms provided this. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We were met at the coach drop off point on our first day and taken to the accommodation and were even helped with carrying our luggage! They also lent us an ironing board and iron on the wedding day which was brilliant. My only reservation was the breakfast. A lot of reviews here mentioned the fresh cooked breakfast which is what actually swayed us to book in the end but I was personally disappointed. If you like fresh cakes for breakfast every morning, then this is great but personally I prefer a more savoury breakfast and this was difficult to get until about day four when I think the hosts realised. There were usually 2 or 3 cakes available every morning and croissants and homemade jams and marmalades etc. but getting bread was difficult until we managed to explain that we would like toast – but then that was it – just toast. No eggs, bacon or anything hot. A couple of cereals were also available and tepid tea at a push (heated in a microwave as they do not seem to use a kettle) but overall the breakfast was a disappointment (especially as friends staying in other local accommodations were getting served eggs, bacon, sausages and other hot options and we actually paid to eat somewhere else one morning just so we could have something a little more substantial)! So in conclusion an excellent location no-frills B&B but don’t expect an extensive breakfast (or hot cup of tea)!

La struttura è pulitissima e sul corso principale di Santa maria di castellabate. La suite dove abbiamo soggiornato era stupenda e perfetta in tutto , la vasca dietro al letto meravigliosa. Ci torneremo molto presto.
